I’m planning to buy a new car in January, would you recommend a 2020 BMW 840i or 2023 BMW M440i?

If you are tall over 6 foot I would say the m440i because of the way you seat. The windshield slops at the ends and I had to turn my head to see correctly. Performance I like the 8 but because of that problem it has pushed me to look for a m4 comp convertible instead of the m8 which has more power but the windshield is larger and the a-pillars are pushed back more in the 4. Congratulations either way they are both great vehicles 👍

I randomly saw one yesterday, in Grey. GORGEOUS, Xdrive, convertible. I had no idea what it was and thought it was a Lambo. I pulled out my phone and took some shots, went home, and looked it up. BEAUTIFUL car, and now I know it has all the muscle that I need! The price is a shock: I thought it would be $150,000. (I had to keep editing this, to get the description right.)

Does it have a soft limiter in sport mode?

It was turned off, which some dealerships turn it on (transport mode, only giving about half the power) normally this will be only for the first fill or around 350 miles.

I recently launched my M440iC RWD to 60 in 4.3 seconds. It really depends on the driver. 5.0 0to60 is not the real number.

How com the m440 have the ugly front and the m340 Have the good looking front ?

It’s a little wider and longer also helps with cooling and aerodynamic. Giving the m440i a strong front look over the m340i. Most of the cooling comes from the bottom part under the grille. The Active kidney grille will remain closed during warm up unless you turn the a/c to max. This system is temperature regulated for engine coolant temperature, a/c condenser, trans oil temp, catalytic converter, brake temp, the grille is not connected to any driving modes.
