I have an X5 M50i for daily driver and she is thirsty. X5M would be a stiffer ride with even more gas consuming. For a week end car X5M for every day X5 M60i.

Great choice. I have a 2025 cayenne gts pebble grey and a 2022 m5 comp matte black. X5 is great, your getting way more for 30k cheaper than a q7

Not really. In comfort mode, the M comp is fine. All the M features the comp has will make it a more stiffer suspension in general, in order to support the speed and handling of the car. that is what a real M car is.

X5M/X6Ms can be used daily with no issues. Ofc it’s a bit stiffer, that’s why it’s a real M car! Might as go for the base X5 if you want it driving like a cloud.

Those are awesome SUVs Anthony. I love them both but the Competition is going on my lottery list lol! Those seats and the exhaust note are just so great! I would really have to keep an ey on myself though with speed 😁I agree with you that BMW should include the power sun shades and soft close doors at those price points. We only got up to 102 here and it's not bad. This is my favorite time of year for sure. How are things on your side? I hope that hurricane is not going to affect you guys. Hopefully things are moving forward with your house and I don't your son for being nervous driving the Maserati. I would be too lol! Hope all is well and happy Wednesday Anthony

Two of the best suv but BMW has been adding to the price. I still would take them both 😁. As long as the weather is cooler at night I agree James it must be nice for most of the day. So far a little rain and hopefully nothing comes out of it. It’s funny with Isa because he says he wants to be an F1 racer but only wants to drive slow vehicles lol. The house work might be on hold for the rest of this week because of the storm but it gives me time to catchup. Happy Wednesday James

I have a 540 on order but am lusting for an M60i. Wonder why someone is selling the M Competition after only 2160 miles (and why no warranty?) Hope the hurricane doesn't cause you any problems.

I believe they made a few grand on the sell which can happen sometimes with these higher end vehicles. Congrats on the 540 that’s the best way to go with power and luxury. I agree the m60i is awesome even though the m comp is my favorite the overall saving makes it the best deal. So far no problems reviewing today but it looks like the rain is coming which we are keeping a look out for the flooding. Thanks Brian

Can you comment on the difference of the suspensions? I think the X5M has an air component? I am worried it wont last if u own the car for 6 yrs or so. Ur thoughts?

I do not see the suspension going out at the dealerships. Usually just normal maintenance and when something really expensive goes out, all of my team tells me and that’s when I see if it wasn’t taken care of or tracked.

that's not true actually, the regular B&W comes on either X5 or X6 but the 7 series, i7, and iX comes with the B&W Diamond Series

@@bluestfalcon419 You wont notice much of a performance different on the street, the X5M would need a track to show it's capabilities and hardly anyone will track an SUV. The M60i is a beast on the street, but it's also more comfortable than the X5M, not to mention unless I'm mistaken, only the M60i has the option for rear wheel steering, the X5M does not get that feature. The M60i has a lot going for it compared to the X5M, it doesn't give up much performance on the street, but it has an advantage in comfort and daily drivability.

⁠sorry chief, I tested both and because of the performance difference landed on the X5M. I do not need rear wheel steering because I can do a proper 3 point parking and prefer the solid cornering and chassis of the M. I may not track it but I definitely take in in the windy roads and have absolute confidence in the vehicle than I did the 60i. The 60i no doubt is the more comfortable vehicle as intended, but the harshness of the M is overblown. Furthermore, and maybe a hot take, but at the price point I’d rather get a fully optioned out 50e as the performance, features, and comfort is on par and there is so little V8 noise that you’re not really getting the full benefit of hearing the S68.

I got the 2025 X6 M60 a few months ago. I like the "coupe" styling better and, frankly, for me, paying another $30K for the X5 Competition isn't worth it. Mine is the Isle of Man green, which I love. I haven't gotten past the break-in yet to enjoy the full engine but having had the 2022 M50 I kinda already know what to expect. My vote is for X6...
