Great review Anthony. I think Ram did a great refresh but I know many are going to be missing the 8. I wonder if any of the manufacturers are still offering an 8? That turbo 6 does have a ton of power though but nothing sounds better than an 8 for sure. We are at 108 here and I'm not planning on leaving lol! It does have a lot of power, I find it funny because Dodge/Chevy both told me we will always have a v8 and Ford never said nothing but they still have them 😁. It’s a great truck but it’s too much for me. It hit in the 100s but turned to rain so looks like we switched weather again lol. Today was easy, inside for the greater part of the day editing and getting ready for a busy week. Keep cool James and hopefully the weather goes back down on your side.

Nice truck; too bad you cannot get the HO I6 in the Bighorn, who wants to spend $70,000 (Limited) just to get the big I6 - 500HP- 500# torque????

Besides people who use their truck for a company like landscaping or construction majority of truck owners just use them to commute to work and travel with family. We all love the V8 but this truck having more power and better fuel economy will suite majority of todays truck buyers. Also you can get the Big Horn with the larger screen and most of the amenities in the higher trims aside from the leather seats. If i had to guess wont be long until ford gets rid of the coyotee in their trucks 90% of F150s on the lot are eco/powerboost engines. Chevy is really the one that still pushes the v8 with the 5.3 and 6.2....

@@DR_Bloom86 thanks for you opinion but the CEO of Ford specifically talks about keeping v8. I’m not biased to any of the companies but from what I see the v8 was a big deal for this truck. To each its own 👍

@@HawkeyeRides Yeah you may be right they wont be getting rid of the V8 anytime soon, but all you have to do is look at inventory to see its not unrealistic to think they could phase it out. In my area here in Florida there are 1322 new F150s for sale on dealer lots and only 190 of them are V8s (roughly 14%).. I am in the market for a new truck so cross shopping both and I honestly like both will come down to which gives me the better deal. Also i think Ram drivers equate no more v8 to pushing electric and while yes there is that push that from all auto makers, have 2 inline 6 engines more powerful than the out going Hemi has to make up for it a little.

Why would ANYONE want the daytime running lights off? I drove trucks, big trucks, not pickups, for 59 years. Daytime running lights are a great feature. It makes the less intelligent drivers who think it has to be dark to turn on lights. Or the invincible ones that don't think in rain and / or fog lights are necessary . They think they can still see. I hope no one ever be in an accident with another vehicle for this reason. But if that person does, let it be a member of that person's family, not just Joe public!

The Silverado is awesome, Chevy with towing and payload will be better but this has better interior. Depending on what you’re using it for either one you can’t go wrong.

Chevy just seems like a nicer truck for towing and stuff but what it doesn’t have is LED lights, Fog lights, a larger screen, on the wheel the trail boss customs don’t have the menu selection on it (I use the custom because it’s pretty much the exact same price.
