Hawkeyes give final remarks ahead of championship rematch with LSU

The Hawkeyes are a day away from a rematch of last year's national championship against LSU. Today they spoke to the media one last time before their Elite 8 matchup against the Tigers.

love these interviews- media is really helping pump up the women's college ball game- I got on board last year '23- and now more into the NCAAW than the NCAAM or even the NBA (which just blows my mind- I am die-hard NBA!) - I follow these teams everyday- appreciate all the media coverage of the NCAAW- the games- the players the coaches- the rivalaries- and different sub stories that evolve during the season

I hope Caitlin and the other players going pro this year convince the WNBA to open locker rooms like this. It would certainly elevate the game, especially if you have players as articulate, knowledgeable and confident as Kate Martin in the league.

You hit on the reason they DON'T open the locker rooms in the WNBA - they are mostly angry and inarticulate. NCAA Women's basketball is not just better entertainment but better basketball because the SPORT is the focus, not social or political agendas.

Kate Martin is no doubt a 1st round pick in the W, can play 2-5 position better than anyone else in the mock draft and I can see her coaching a team someday.👍👍👍

@@CarlBriggs25 LSU lost 6 major factors from last year 1) Jasmine Carson 2) Ladazhia Williams 3) Alexis Morris 4-6) the biased refs LSU had on their side Iowa had gained the talents of McCabe, Feuerbach, Gyamfi and Goodman...plus they taste blood in rematches...especially tournament rematches!!! Lsu is the team stuck as a 3 seed...Iowa has went from a 2 seed to a 1 seed.
