Why doesn’t he keep them both and push Kat to the 4??? Atlanta is clearly longer and bigger and killing them on second chance rebounds. This is madness. D'Andre Hunter is far better, was available, and would have cost far less but the Knicks were misled by the Villanova thing (although they were forced to trade Di Vicenzo later). Bad management once again dooms the Knicks to mediocrity and, in the next few years, to much worse.

Knicks played better in the 1st half than in the 2nd half. In the 2nd half, the Knicks let themselves go, including Brunson. He's named the captain, but he's not performing like a captain. That's how the Knicks keep getting dominated down the paint. It's like losing to the villains.

I'm not concerned about Tray Young. He's a front runner and there are many players like that. That gets resolved when the Knicks win. Period. And also the league and media love that sort of thing because it gets clicks and gives them a story. Content. But in REAL Bball news, the Knicks are just really pressing sometimes. Give the Hawks credit. They won this game.. They frustrated the Knicks and took the Knicks out their game.. There's no fluke to the fact that Hawks beat Boston in Boston or the Cavs twice-- they play DEFENSE, swarming defense and Daniels took over the game at times with his swiping and pestering. They come at you- reminds me of the Heat when they're clicking. The Knicks rushed shots. Never got their rhythm, and missed open 3's. The Knicks got out muscled on rebounds, and really just couldn't hit the broad side of the barn-in today's NBA where 3's are critical-- if you can't hit your shots- you better defend...... If not, it's going to be a very inconsistent season and playoffs... Defense is the stabilizer... Or this will continue happening.

The Hawks were playing rough. So rough that they slapped OG in the face which is a flagrant. Pat Riley would have gotten two players off the bench to foul just as hard until the players got chippy which would force the refs to call the game tighter, which would be in our benefit. Thibs is such an idiot sometimes. He doesn't do a good job countering opposing teams' adjustments.

The problem is this franchise continuing to bank on MIA players like Mitchell Robinson who give you nothing bec he never plays. He is wasting a roster spot and its rhe GM and HC fault. We need a real center to back up KAT and to grab boards and block shots. Vinny needs to be brought back and Hart needs to come off the bench where he is most needed and effective. The team lacks the toughness it had last season despite having a better offense.
