I think what’s so great about this podcast is obviously the hosts are dope, but they have so many connections to people in skating and action sports as well as comedy, that these feel so much friendlier and more organic than some random journalist trying to ask really general questions about those worlds. I love other types of interviews that are more focused as well, but this is a very unique and special form to be able to see people interact more naturally I think. Almost like being a fly on the wall for all these guys catching up over coffee or a burger or something.

One day a couple of us went to skate at the neighbourhood school and our buddy who was the best skater is just like trying to jump off stuff and board slide the plastic spiral slide, doesn't wanna play skate or slappy the schoolyard. Literally says "I just wanna do stunts now" lol. Phones didn't have cameras yet, he didn't have a camcorder. "Practicing" jackass off camera is some funny stuff that explains why we're the first generation who thinks kids these days aren't outta control they're objectively lame. It's wild that jackass had absolutely no roadmap and they are impossible to follow. Maybe it's the lead getting removed from the water?

I didn't expect it, but Wolf is how I was when someone wanted to or acted like they wanted to fight me. I would get intimidated and feel bad that they wanted to try and hurt me. Even though I trained martial arts, it didn't help, until years later, but I still feel bad that someone would want to. But it eventually helped in some ways, they if someone is trying to intimidate, they rarely want to actually fight.
