The White Zone album is stuff left over from Business Of The Future To Be Dangerous that was worked on and expanded. It's the sound of the band getting to grips with technology, sampling, sequencing etc. It never came out on vinyl but when Cherry Red did the Atomhenge reissues it was included so I consider it a proper album. I do agree that some albums would have been brilliant single albums rather than good doubles. My gripe with 90s material is the production. A separate good producer should have been used, Electric Tepee especially frustrated because it would've been so good with decent production.

Thanks Anton glad you agree with my double album thing. I actually think Tepee sounds good but Alien 4 sounds a bit cranky to me

@@36ELRIC I thought Alien 4 on release was a real classic but now I go agree there's a much better single album amongst it.

I enjoyed that. I'm happy to talk Hawkwind anytime day or night. Stick an album on, fire up a spliff and let's talk.

I am very glad that It's the business of the future to be dangerous, was a double album. For me it's well spacey. So much more my kind of hawkwind than say the mid 80s more bland rock stuff

Alien 4 was tremendous but Distant Horizons was just awful.
