only down the road from me.... haven't bought a studio hawkwind album since 'in your area'....i quite enjoyed going to rock city/seeing hawkwind.... hawkwind live - still sound like they believe in what they are doing.... saw them many times in the 80's with brock/bainbridge/lloyd-langton/davey/blake/deamer/griffin/wishart/chadwick ....etc

This has to be the greatest line up since the 70s. So strong in every department. My first Rock City gig since 88 also. So very happy to have made the trip.

This lineup are starting to make sense now. They were truly awesome last night especially in the middle between the speakers. I was with my cousin who hadn't been to Rock City since the hawks were there in 1988 on the Xenon Codex tour. This gig was up there with the classic lineups over the years I feel.
