Hmmm, I've been a Hawkwind fan since virtually day one, seen them umpteen times, but honestly, is this what they are reduced to now? I'm sure it was better if you were there but this just sounds like a pub band doing a few Hawkwind tracks.

Arthur was struggling..but what do you expect at our age? 50 years of partying will do that but worth the memories.

This is really bad, I,m so happy that i saw Hawkwind and Hawklords back in the 70's. I would be demanding my money back if i had gone to this gig.

its great arthur can still sing but the lyrics to the watcher aren't complicated so shouldn't be that hard to remember , his voice doesn't work for me.. we've had ron tree , arthur , dibs over the years but none come close to the presence nik turner gave hawkwind imho !

I got the feeling that Arthur Brown walked off a lot earlier than expected, but the orchestra had to carry on as they are playing the sheet music.

I saw 3 gigs, Arthur did less each one and I'm sure it's cos Dave couldn't avoid how crap he was.

he has a fantastic singing voice but doesn't seem bothered about what he is singing (or narrating - I think he shuffled the Sonic Attack sheets he was holding). The Black Corridor narration is good though.

@@andrewfgreenwood Arthur Brown is a great singer/performer doing his own stuff. He does not suit Hawkwind, I've seen a number of gigs with him, he misses cues, sings out of time and fucks up the words. Only time I've seen it work was when he did Time Captives which is his own song!
