Man yeah, I am doing the exact thing with trees in and on the edges of my fields!! I agree, cold weather and chainsaws!! Thats a good thing to be out of hay for the season 😁😁🇺🇲🇺🇲

Getting that land cleared and any other areas organized you'll really increase your productive acres (without buying land or paying more property taxes). Instead of all the "bottom bales", Get wood pallets (ones marked "HT" for heat treat and slatted style) from a local business that otherwise landfills (so they can be free) and make a wood slat floor, provides air flow. That can save you ten percent of the bales which is like getting ten percent more good acres too.

Lots of wood there on your farm. Is that most hickory or ash you have down, looks like it's going to make some good burning. I have some of the same issue with the tree cropping up in the edges of my fields that I need to work on. Good luck with the rest of your projects, I hope you have a good night!
