An automated hay feeder that is programmed with your apple and android device.
This automatic feeder will deliver hay to your grazing animals 4 times a day. Set the four designated feeding times with a simple to use app for your iphone, ipod, ipad, or android device. A feeder can be installed in your barn for each stall or in a paddock for outside winter feedings.
HEALTH
Horses in particular are most healthy when they eat constantly throughout the day. Many animals store bile in a gall bladder and release it with the intake of food. Horses do not have a gall bladder and the liver is constantly secreting bile into the small intestine whether food is present or not. Likewise the stomach is also releasing acids all the time. This is why there is a need to keep food moving through the hoarse's digestive tract at all times. Otherwise it is possible for the bile to build up in the bloodstream and make the hoarse look jaundiced (yellowish in the whites of the eyes and gums). Other problems from eating only a couple large meals a day include digestive imbalance, body condition and performance issues and potentially more serious conditions such as ulcers and colic.
WORK DAY
Head to work and relax that your feeder is going to deliver you animals their hay on a regular schedule.
WEEKENDS
Its February and outside the thermometer reads 10 deg. Want to sleep in after a long work week? Just set up the feeder at night and know that your animals is being fed at dawn while your still warm in bed.
VACATIONS
The automatic hay feeder makes it easy for some to care for your animals while you are away. Having to ask and pay someone to come over multiple times a day to throw hay to your animals is inconvenient and can be expensive. With the automatic hay feeder they only need to come over one time to load the feeder and check up on the animals. Save money and time.
CUSTOM OPTIONS
The unit pictured is designed go outside (can be used inside as well) and has a cedar siding to protect the hay from the weather. If you are planning on using an automatic feeder inside then a less expensive model can be made to order that does not include the ceder enclosure. Those start at around $1000. This hay feeder connects to your phone via Bluetooth but if your barn has internet access, then wifi or ethernet control of the feeder is also possible. Other options include using the app to control lights or using a thermostat for controlling fans and heated water buckets (All controlled with the same app). The feeder are made from plywood but can be customized using any wood you like to match the decor of your barn. Please call to discuss a custom feeder or the installation of several feeders.

Thanks for your interest Lori (and Riding Friends). I built this for my pony a few ago in 2015 and have been using it every day since. Originally I built it for when we go to work or on vacations but after using it the first day I realized its convince and have used it ever since. Currently working on a modular model that can be stacked for any number of feedings and have designed it so it can be shipped. I will create a web site where they may be purchased and also put it up on eBay real soon.

Randy how do I find the app that you use with your feeder? Have a horse that tends to laminitus and needs to be fed frequently but smaller amounts this would be perfect for her thanks I know a couple of different stable owners that would be very interested in this type feeder
