একদিন দু’জন লোক এক বালককে টেনে ধরে হযরত #উমর (রা.) এর দরবারে নিয়ে আসলো। উমর (রা.) তাদের কাছে জানতে চাইলেন, ব্যাপার কী? কেন তোমরা একে এভাবে টেনে এনেছো? তারা বললো, এই বালক আমাদের পিতাকে হত্যা করেছে। উমর (রা.) বালককে বললেন, তুমি কী সত্যিই তাদের পিতাকে হত্যা করেছো? বালকটি বললো, হ্যাঁ! আমি তাদের বাবাকে হত্যা করেছি।
