Even on YT on my laptop, I can get a flavour of these speakers ability to allow the music to flow and with great dynamic contrast. The instruments sound "whole", there's a seamlessness across the range. Also sibilance is handled naturally, something I'm always sensitive to. Well done!

It's quite a difficult balancing act to remove sibilance and anything offensive whilst not knocking the life out of the speaker. Its taken a lot if listening and tweaking but I now feel there ready

@@michaelvincent8306 what size is the room again? They have a lot of bass weight so can overload smaller rooms?

@haycrossaudio5474 the celestion county being sealed box are good with se valve amp a lot more bass weight with my exposure amps I used to have a large room with no problem but this new home is only 10.5 by 10.5 feet square so very awkward for speakers

I'd love to hear these in person. I'm a true 44 fanboy. Yes they're coloured, but I've never seen that as a negative. Surely you want different textures and flavours in hi-fi, the same as anything? I'm going to upset people here, but I'd choose a good pair of 44s over BC1s any day. Thanks for sharing, Matt 👌🏻👍

I love the BC1 and 44 which is one if the reasons I did my 44 XR mash up. Still a little way to go but they not far off being finished 😊

@@haycrossaudio5474 bloody hell! No offence, thats a couple of decent bits of kit but nothing spectacular, I was expecting you to be using something more expensive. That speaks volumes to how good the speakers really are in my opinion. Well impressed 👏 Whats that £500 of front end (used) about £1000 (new)

@@russellparker4568 Yeah that's what I have in the lounge for day to day use. I've got a load of other kit but only drag that out from time to time and for testing. These speakers have been run on loads of different kit. All part of developing them. Cheers

They behave really well off axis. Your not really going to get much of an idea using KZbin sound clips but thought I'd put something out today

@@Stikibits They are toed in but not massively. They don't need to be. I didn't want that 'head in a vice' type of speaker. They are designed to give a wide listening area. Of course the best image is sat in the middle but you can sit quite a way off centre and still experience good sound. They don't live in the lounge. They live in our snug. I'm listening to them now sat far left and there still lovely sounding
