This was just too cool!!!!! Hayden is always super chill so to watch him take part with the breathing is definitely over the top amazing for me. That said I liken him playing darth vader to "PASSION OF THE CHRIST". He was the true sacrificial lamb and had to bear the burden of playing out Vaders story in a time where fans weren't ready for anyone to make anything. And it took everyone at least 10 years to be ok with it. to accept him. And realize that the prequels was in fact an uncomfortable tale of tragedy. I have so much respect for him and his sacrafice for this roll. its' good to see him back.

When the prequels came out I didn't like how vibrant everything was compared to the originals but they were obviously set in a different time before the sith took control of the galaxy and ive have come to love them. Imagine we got a series like clone wars set in between 2 and 3. I reckon Hayden and Ewan could still pull it off age wise.

It's not that it's a different time. It's different places. The original is set on out outskirts of society and focuses on the military, while the prequels focus more on civilians in populated areas.

Not likely that was Lucas this is Disney. The Obi Wan series is all ready ridiculous with a duck waddling Leia nobody can catch and super woman Reeva or the 5th sista who like Rey can do anything. Its not a Luke/Obi Wan story.

@@sarimanne6204 I will remain polite. I like story. If it wasn't for the characters, universe and story George Lucas created non of these characters would be around. Its not just the female characters its the male ones too basically the Disney Characters. Even Grogu, lets see what direction they take him according to Lucas he should be trained and not a automatic super hero like the names mentioned This show is called Obi Wan Kenobi. It is suppose to be about Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. It not the Adventures of Leia and Reeva whoever she is, a completely new character never heard of before and she has more screen time than Kenobi. Kenobi is the supporting character in his own series and Luke is not even in it. Regardless this show is for the new Disney Star Wars fans and if you like it that's who it was made for not the Lucas Star Wars fans. For Lucas fans anything after the Clone Wars (even Rebels) series is legend and the sequels some event that happened in a parallel universe in a galaxy far far away from Lucas fans. Enjoy and spend money on the Disney merchandise. May the Disnery force be with you.

Tbh I think all the new star wars stuff is a cash grab and doesn’t have the same heart as the earlier stuff though I did enjoy rogue one and the mandolorian. But a lot of the criticism fans have comes across as sexist since it’s always towards the female cast, and it wasn’t really criticism but bullying especially to the girl who played rose. Which is why I’m defensive when I see the ones getting the most hate are the kid and the woc. I mean look what happened to the actor who played kid anakin. I didn’t pay much attention to the promo for this series but as far as I know it was meant to be about obi wan, I didn’t see anything but Luke, it would be boring if it was since at the start of a new hope Luke has only ever been a farmer, never been on an adventure and only know obi wan as some old hermit. So what would that show be about? Without breaking the continuity. Leia makes sense because she is in politics and has had a lot more adventures then look did prior to the movies. As for reeva, every show has a villain , what did you expect? It had to be new so they could do more with the story and the character otherwise it wouldn’t be very interesting since we already know what happens to everyone else. Rivas just your standard bad guy for obi wan to fight he’s still the main character.
