Hayden is such a good actor, he embraces the role fully and delivers 101%. I feel like most people think putting on that much makeup and prosthetics isn't super hard you're just sitting in a chair but no it's hell so he takes on so much for this role and is amazing at it

I'm sure most people understand how hard and exhausting that must be but at the same time they don' throw words like ''hell'' around. Honey, hell is disease, death of loved ones, war, abuse and other horrors and hardships. This is just a tough but necessary thing to do as a part of a job they CHOSE to do. Worth respect sure, but not idolizing as you do. I mean, do you praise surgeons standing for hours for their surgeries? Do you praise rescuers, doctors, soldiers living in trenches in could weather with little comfort? My point is lets respect and praise actors for a job well done - but lets not go too far with fangirling over them.

They did a fantastic job making his scars healed since ROTS but still not at the level of ROTJ, making it in between. Nice touch! But that brief moment when Hayden's walking with the suit and turns towards the camera at 1:36 he looks so much like Sebastian Shaw!

canonically, vader doesnt have any skin anymore, he was basically given skingrafts all over with a very shoddy synthetic skin, that apperantly itched and burned non stop and kept him from sleeping and drove him insane and kept him in a rage, as well as his armor being outdated and very painful to wear. Emporer did this all purposely to keep Darth Vader so angry and enraged, to the brink of insanity. to keep in entuned with the dark side.

What I also appreciated in the series is the level of detail the crew put in to Vader’s makeup. We now see the progression in Vader’s wounds healing. It looks sort of somewhere in between how he was right after his injury on Mustafar and Return of the Jedi.
