When Jim is showing the offense how a passing route should be run, keep in mind that he was a QB for the Chargers. He knows what it's like when the WR and TE are running their routes properly. It makes a QB's job so much easier. I suspect when he is on the sidelines in a game, and the offense is on the field, that he pictures himself under center!
