Everything has their silver linings. With the good comes the bad, and bad comes the good. You can't appreciate highs without the lows. I feel the new Hayden has respect for those boundaries. Even though he wants to kill it in every video, he understands (or is beginning to understand) the give and take. If you want maximum productivity, you can't just be full throttle all the time, you gotta take 5 and recharge a bit. Because quality ALWAYS out performs quantity.

Totally respect the highs and lows you described when trying certain ideas. I have also felt that and when you speak to someone who isn't in the same mindset its definitely hard to explain why it's so frustrating when things just simply go wrong. But I've learned that it's ok to make mistakes and be frustrated about things because its just another way you express that you're truly passionate about something, and that's all part of growing as a creative. 🙏🏻

You always manage to come up with topics that really touch one. I know both sides described by you. This feeling when you forget everything around you, all problems are simply gone for a few hours and you are all to yourself. That is simply wonderful. But the negative side, that you always have to be present on social media and need the attention... Actually we want to make our pictures for us. But on the other hand it is anchored in the human being, this desire for recognition for our work. The need to share our art with the world and to be celebrated for it. It is a curse and a blessing. But it's up to us to find a healthy middle ground.

For photography for me it feels like something that captures moments in time. like music has been the soundtrack to my life, photography catches the moments of where i have been in life. A bit hard to explain but its the feeling when I am holding the camera, everything else washes away for sure dude.

This was a much needed update on your wellbeing and thought process. I feel that this is what happens to most people who start KZbin or posting on Instagram and they don't get the reach they want so they give up... but at the end of the day, for me at least, if my videos or content hits 10 people that aren't close friends or family then that's enough. Is it getting me money or paying the bills absolutely not but at the same time it helps to push forward... recently I've been stuck in a spiral of trying to create a narrative out of something that has no narrative. Which can be the most upsetting thing and that's where planning comes in but also... not everything needs to be planned to be ok. Not all content you produce will be your best, we aren't Mr Beast out here one upping ourselves in every video just to stay relevant. Though for you I feel like you tend to rely on the same sort of content rather than branch out, burn out is definitely hit a toll with you and most people can see that. Just try not to make everything perfect, if something stuffs up explain what you were going for and how you would fix it. At the end of it that's how you improve right... reflecting on your mistakes.

You are an artist… not a content creator… they are NOT synonymous (to me). A camera… a web site is your medium… but YOU are an artist. Artists have passion, raw emotion, they live their emotions through their artistry. A photographer, content creator creator, painter etc does it for money, recognition, “like”, it’s a job and there’s pressure. It’s not about the passion. They enjoy it but it’s not their souls work. I could care less how many likes I get on my work. I don’t do it for them I do it for me and hope I touch at least ONE. If you touch ONE you did something right. You connected ❤ … it’s the quality of the relationships not the quantity. You’re a phenomenal artist don’t ever lose sight of that. I love following your adventures (and misadventures) truly inspiring. Maybe in another life we could have been artsy friends 😂

I felt everything in this video, especially the anger part. I know exactly how getting mad at something not working feels. I am a completely different person when I have a camera in my hand and am out shooting. I don't like the person I am when I'm not shooting. At all. I think it's why I gravitate towards photography so much and want to make it my job. So I don't feel like a piece of shit and get praise from other people. Shooting a dope photo, and it not being recognized, is something I deal with far too often. I do have a good, small, group of people who like my stuff though. I'm sorry for the rant. Just want to be heard I guess. You were the first KZbin photographer I ever watched on a regular basis. You are the one who introduced me to North Borders and 7th Era. Thank you for being there for people like me who are at the end of their rope.

More people need to see this. They're giving up their dreams, because they don't have that much likes or followers...That's not the important part. I learned that hard way, very similar to yours. Our hobbies should be fun, not something that "must be done" or to "please someone". When I'm mad, that I'm not that good or that I don't have much likes or whatever, I always tell myself: you're doing this for you. Because YOU love it. You don't have to prove nothing to anyone. And that's the truth.
