Andres is happy; the musicians are happy, the audience is happy, we are too. Haydn deliver beauty that is full of radiant happyness

Why do I feel like I've never heard Haydn and this symphony before? Orozco-Estrada can take any piece of music, no matter how overworked and played into the ground, that we're oh so tired of hearing yet again, and make it new and fresh. What a gift! and how badly needed, this breath of fresh air and life! Bravo Maestro! eres fenomenal!

A performance of spirit and elegance befitting one of Haydn's masterful symphonies; the Maestro and his Orchestra can always be depended on for a superlative presentation of any work.

Warum so wenige Anschauer? Schade!

Because, in translation to googlean... Doesn't affect his melody Studied gurgles, Difficult trifles, All fake ornaments With which he pretends great The poor and mean song, That forgets to reach the soul By deceiving the ear. Haydn's song is noble, It's true and simple It is judicious, it is perceptible, Always varied, always rich. In it never the Auditorium He will praise himself as a soothsayer; That, instead of the expected step, You usually find the unforeseen ... Haydn Friend, excuse me What of your ingenuity I have said: To know you is little, Nothing for those who have heard you. In this performance, the tempi really don't make sense. There doesn't appear to be a slow movement. In Haydn, the weight of a symphony is usually in the second movement, at least according to H.C. Robbins Landon, and from there there's an escalation in tempo. The contrast in this performance is nil. But the playing is good.

God I love Haydn. Original witty mercurial and father of the classical symphony. I just don' t like the stupid nicknames given to his symphonies.
@elaineblackhurst15092 жыл бұрын
By the time Haydn wrote his first symphony in 1757, the form was already a gangly teenager of about 17; a father by definition must be involved at the conception which he clearly was not. Haydn as ‘Father of the Symphony’ is probably the single biggest piece of misinformation in the whole of music history.

Nice, but a little heavy-going to my ears. It needs a lighter touch. Compare it with The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra's kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpm2pouNpbOgpZY, which, in my opinion, absolutely hit the right note here for Haydn.

The restatement of the exposition of the first movement was not performed as written and the re-write isn't nearly as good as what Haydn wrote. Not good.

I noticed that too - I think it's an editing mistake at 2:38, where perhaps the wrong 2 bars got inserted
