My goodness, I have watched this video at least 50 times. I never tire watching the elegant, understated conducting of Laurence Cummings. As for the voice of Matthew Brook; I have no words to express how wonderful this voice is. Surely, Britain's leading bass/baritone. Thank you to all for a wonderful performance ❤️ 💜

The musicians are good!But the stage too dark!Or is that a sort of nonsens!And parts of that performance are too fast!Why?

What a claim. Show the musical score where it indicates that it’s being played too fast! AAM is well known for period correct performances.
