ehh, l feel like in a format like these you lose people's first reaction and original thought-process,, it's easy to say "l expected x and y" in postcom when you didnt actually thought about x and y in the heat of the moment during the battle. (not accussing anyone of lying, but if you post-record after a day or 2 you could misremember/forget what your exact thought-process was at the time right.) Also l feel like sometimes the tone/mood of the voice can give away whether it's a win or a loss,, it's hard to stay upbeat/impartial when you know damn well that you made some misplays and you're gonna lose the battle for them. Also l feel more suspense during a live-com compared to a post-com battle, but that might just be personal preference. Again, no shade towards haydunn or anyone in particular, l just feel like these things are pretty significant drawbacks to post-com. Though l agree that postcom has the advantages of being more concise and structured, and Hayden is way more comfortable with post-com since most of his content is post-com, so it's really no problem if he decides to do post-com for the rest of the season, l just wanted to share some arguments for the other side of the debate :]

Dont worry too much about results, it's your first week back and this matchup did seem really tricky! Looking forward to next week's match! :] It was unfortunate about the ChestoBerry, but l guess it does make sense that people might overprep against sleep due to your darkrai, though in this case idk if you could really expect specifically tinkaton to run it since it wouldnt outspeed darkrai and thus wouldnt be a switch-in and if you wait to hard-switch you mightve already put something else to sleep thus making chesto on tinka redundant. At 11:37, l wonder if it wouldve been a good mid-ground play to switch-in your slowking-G here. The obvious switches are gyara and glisc, so tusk would never go for a ground move. Tusk either goes for supercellslam or icespinner, either of with slowkingG takes with ease. You'd still need to switch again afterwards to either gliscor or gyara, but it lets you scout what your opponent would do without any drawbacks since regenerator would heal you back up to full (barring a crit)

Tough loss, I know it’s a risk but I think knowing they would either go ice move or electric move when you had in goodra, you should have pulsed. They are unlikely to click quake as it only punishes one of the 3 while it’s useless to the other too, and the opponent was ahead so they couldn’t afford the passive play and give up moment when the odds weren’t good. Love your content and was so excited to see you back in the draft format, really hope to see some more aggressive plays in the future.

I'm not super competitive or anything but I have been using regular Slowking and Hisuian-Goodra recently and what I've felt worked the most for them was Weakness Policy Slowking with slack-off but it doesn't always pop off, usually I need a special wall and if does live a hit and get the boost I can maybe kill one thing, but a smart player will have coverage (and other times they underestimate it and it pops off). The Hisuian-Goodra is honestly my most favorite pokemon to play with in the game right now, it'll basically never live an earthquake from a Great Tusk, but I give it HP and attack investment, assault vest, and I run counter. Most people don't expect the counter and boom the Goodra checks the Goodra-check. No recovery because assault vest but there are times I can't control the momentum and think, I'm junk gonna counter from full HP with my special wall lol. Hisuian-Goodra is goated. Edit: Realized none of these things work cause I also got trick room on the Slowking and when you use counter once in competitive they're going to expect it. Still pretty cool mons though. Stoked to see the next match you picked some cool mons.

You coulda swapped into Slowking gotten the regenerator, eaten the quick attack, swapped into Beartic to sack it off and gone back to King for more Regenerator, KO’d Ogrepon and then been in a position to potentially win
