Well I cannot say that I "know" Hayes, but I've met and talked to him a couple of times down at The Old Quarter and he's humble, kind, clearly brilliant, and driven to write better and better songs. The big sign hanging over the entrance has a drawing of Townes face on one side and Hayes on the other. Hayes would be the first to agree with you...and that's why I feel confident saying what I said.
