Hayes High Street London

Hayes is a small town in west London situated in the Middlesex county and now under the authority of the London Borough of Hillingdon. Hayes End, Harlington, and Yeading localities are in it, and the population was 83,564 recorded in the 2011 census. It is situated 13 miles west of central London or 6.5 miles east of Slough. The beautiful Grand Union Canal, which flows through the heart of Hayes, makes it even more amazing, Great Western Main Line, country parks, a town center, residential areas, and country parks.

I bought my first flat in Hayes in 1977. I watched this video and didn’t recognise any of the buildings. What a change ! I now live in Cairns in Northern Australia. Very different.

I was born in Hayes End lived there until 1958, we then moved to Ramsgate,l have now lived in Italy since 1965.I'm now 80 and to see these videos is rather a shock,my dear England of days gone by doesn't exist anymore😢🤷🇬🇧💯💂

There should be a law to limit stores on high street catering only to specific ethnicity. It’s ok to have a Indian restaurant here, a Chinese restaurant there but overall there should be good mix as well as unique shops to keep high street interesting for everyone.

One Ethnicity isnt stopping anyone else building shops you know. If there's no other Ethnicity shops, it's becauase other ethnicities aren't opening them. No one's stopping them. It might just be that one Ethnicity is more ambitious than others
