I recently looked at two 2024 GD here in Tucson. The ones I toured had poor fit and finish. Gaps in steps to the wall and gaps in cabinetry. I told the salesman that someone left a glass of water on the counter. He said, oh we leave that in here so we have moisture to prevent the cabinets from cracking. He actually told me that. Thank you for your videos. I learn a lot from them.

Some really good stuff coming from Grand Design, we're very excited to see feature length walkthoughs on almost all of these, though the other half says we especially need to see "the one that was six trailers ahead of the one that was on the screen" when she was talking. Good luck with that one, I feel your pain. Oh yeah, when Steve the Stovetop is above a microwave like he was in one of the Transcends, it gave him a really big mouth. OK, I absolutely love just about everything that grand designs putting out nowadays. And I do hope that the quality is coming back. As for what I would like to see you cover, I would love to see you cover definitely some of the smaller grand designs, and the reason why is because Right now I have a Tacoma, but I’m thinking seriously about getting at least a half ton. I’ve never been real crazy about the monster houses on wheels but if you wanna cover those, I will definitely watch. To me they’re just a bit too big and when I go camping, I want to go camping lol. As always, Josh thank you so much for what you do, I truly look forward to seeing your videos on these trailers. Because as I continue to go along to try to figure out what I’m going to finally get, I feel like I have all the information and knowledge I will need to make a great decision on a great camper. We really like Grand Design. We won't buy one until they put a back door on the bunk models and a flip up bottom bunk. We don't want to carry our electric bikes in the truck and need an easy way to load them in the camper. Please make the door wide enough to load a tote. Love you, Josh!

Hi Josh. I was anxious to see what changes they made to the AIM16ML. I have a 2024 model year. Likes: 1. Yes!! They finally got rid of that awful fold down faucet inside the round sink and replaced it with a separate faucet. 2. Love that they changed entry window to a clear glass instead of the old opaque window. I swapped mine out and it was not an easy thing to do, so glad they did it from the factory. 3.Happy to hear they are upgrading the slides. I have had zero issues with mine (fingers crossed) Can Take It Or Leave It: 1. the lighter colors. Eh. It's okay. (Upon further review...). I should probably move this to the dislike section. I don't care for the new flooring at all, and walls seem too stark white. 2. The change to window valances. I actually like the boxy ones I have. I use mine over the bed window to store my phone and power banks, and put my eyeglasses there at night. DISLIKES: 1. I really dislike the smoked glass in the cabinet doors. I don't like how it looks at all. 2. I do not like the look of the sofa. Would have to sit on it to see if it is more comfortable than the old style. But I would need to put some sort of cover on the new one. 3. Dislike the new flooring at all. SUGGESTIONS TO GRAND DESIGN FOR AIM SERIES: 1. Find a way to move the microwave to over the counter. It is way to hard to use the microwave when it is down so low. Too hard to read the labels. I hate to give up cupboards above, but could add a drawer where microwave currently is, thus adding back storage lost above. 2. On the 16ML please change the 3 drawers so top one better for utensil storage, meaning not quite as tall of a drawer. Then divide the remaining height into 2 drawers, so you still have 3 total, but 2 larger and 1 not quite as tall as currently. Personally I removed the griddle completely and now use that space for storage instead. I absolutely love my AIM16ML and highly recommend it. Got mine in June and spent a total of 8 weeks camping this summer (4 2-week trips) and next year I plan to go for 10 weeks.

Many not fans of the lighter colors and lighter wood. Everyone except 1 was happy about the sink change! This has been a huge modification done by so many.

That was something really occurring only a pretty small number of their very large fifth wheel and really never affected their brand overall. Although that’s never how it was ever presented to the public. They’ve absolutely been making efforts to prevent and eliminate anything and have greatly stepped up on their warranty side of things to take care of folks who have invested in a grand design.

Used GD rvs are pretty much worthless right now. Many dealers won't even take them in trade. Reflection, Imagine, and Transcend bumper pulls are also having cracked fromes.

Also, confused about the comment on the curt touring coil suspension. You made it sound like it is not good for larger RVs. But I believe Lippert/Curt is recommending it for big RV's with 8k axles.

Getting my 3rd Grand Design, a 2025 295RL. Will be off the line around the end of October. I saw in your video that the 150 series now ships with Curt suspension with the coil springs and gas shocks. All the videos and pictures I can find on the 2025 just shows the MORryde suspension. Also can’t find any info on Grand Designs website. When did they change over and is there any documentation from Grand Design about this. Thanks and always enjoy and benefit from your insight and research.

Thanks for the great videos. Can you find out from GD why nearly all of their Imagine / XLS / AIM line of travel trailer models for 2025 have a higher hitch weight, higher UVW, and consequently lower CCC compared with the exact same 2024 model?

Great job on the fly-by! But - Wha happened to the xls 17 MKE? We're a senior couple looking for the dual axles, murphy bed, recliners, no dinette, no bunk flioor plan AND (in case that wasn't enough) trying to keep it under 21-22ft. Help?

If a tow vehicle has built-in anti-sway (the Ford Ranger does this by modulating the ABS system) does that work with the anti-sway trailer, or do they work independently but well together, or does one system have to be disabled?

The trailer sway systems work on their own but basically the same way - by playing lightly with the brakes

Would love to see a full video of the Influence 3203GK. It’s a slightly different floor plan than the 2903/3503, Reflection 393/337, etc. with the L shaped sofa. Having a hard time finding one in our area to view in person.

I have footage of that influence coming! I seriously almost walked by it. At a glance I thought it was the same rear-lounge triple slide EVERYBODY makes But I popped my head in anyway and was VERY pleasantly surprised. I *really* like the layout

Fantastic! We’re really interested in this as it’s different! Very curious how the L shaped sofa works with the slide..is it all one piece that moves in, or does the end piece ‘fold’ in somehow, if that makes any sense. I’ll be watching for that video!

Hey Josh with the imagine 22mle the suspension can you get shocks to help with a better ride

There are no allowances for that. Thankfully this year they did upgrade to mor/ryde suspension. hangers would have to be added to the chassis to support the shocks While that's possible doing so after the fact would void your factory frame warranty

Would you be able to post the model number or information on the refrigerator that was seen in the Transcends. We have a transcend and seeing that bigger Furrion refrigerator, we might be able to replace ours with a better one.

2670mk--or a couple of the full Imagines. Mainly because I want to know your thoughts on that new flooring. I loved all of the updates…until I saw the flooring. It looks like an old warehouse’s flooring. I am not going to buy enough rugs to cover it up. 😢
