Unlike some others who don’t seem to understand physics, I’m genuinely impressed. This is clearly a small, couple’s camper and the two-seat dining/media arrangement works very well. It leaves the floor plan open and provides media facing seats. The overhang would take some getting used to, however EVERY rv has a component that takes getting used to. As I have a family, I’m not in the market for this one, but kudos to Brinkley. Fit and finish looks amazing.

what does physics have to do with anything here and why is it important to you to have such a wide open floorplan in that living area? i understand i'm likely in the minority here, but as much as i can appreciate the desk/table area, i'd actually prefer a traditional dinette, even at the risk of being old-fashioned, giving up precious floor space, and not truly understanding physics.

@@htschultz Where physics come into play, is simply that you have limited space and weight in order to maintain 1/2 towing. A dinette would be larger, meaning you either extend the trailer to accommodate, or you shrink the kitchen space to accommodate. I use the kitchen daily, where as I will eat outside, on the sofa, or the table. I go entire camping trips without using our dinette, so I don’t want to lose kitchen space for dinette space. As for making larger, well, it would now be longer and heavier. Likely no longer 1/2 ton towable. Lastly, as far as why I like open spaces, that’s my preference. Have a great day!

I do like the contemporary look of the table/desk, but if the weather is decent, we're cooking/eating/hanging out outside regardless. But when the weather is crummy and we're forced inside, then we're likely cooking/eating/working inside, and in those situations, for us, given the choice (if there was an option), we'd opt for function (dinette) over form (table/desk). All that being said, it's a moot point for us as I previously shared, as the weight is simply far too heavy for our TV, so I'm not really their target demo with my lightweight MB GLE SUV, as this beauty requires some sort of robust pickup truck. I had the pleasure last week of walking through the big Brinkley travel trailer. It reminded me as a high end Lance RV in that the fit and finish of EVERYTHING is just about perfect, storage is AMAZING as EVERYWHERE that could be used for storage has been used. The bedroom storage……. I’m speechless!!! I’ve never seen such great bedroom storage short of an RV with a bedroom slide. The shades actually cover ALL of the window instead of letting light shine around the edges like most RVs do. Brinkley has DEFINITELY raised the bar with what can be done in an RV. Bravo Brinkley, bravo!

Similar layout to the Jayco RB22 my first towable but way more improvements. Love the bigger fridge and bottom freezer and adjustable shelves in the pantry. Jayco had a walk-in pantry which allowed for tall things hanging like brooms and vacuums. Storage space is incredible especially under the bed, and drawers to die for. Looks like my next upgrade!

Josh.... You are going to need more than my F150 5.0 to tow that beast, it is on the far edge of half ton towable. This would be a great trailer to build a little brother about 2' shorter...maybe 3'. Get rid of the shelf under the sink...there is already enough storage in the trailer. Us cat owners could put a litter box in that space. Slant the toilet just a bit for easier butt napkin access. It needs another 200 watts solar from the factory. And Brinkley...if you are going to produce such a high end trailer, put in the inverter. For the price and scale of the camper, no one should have to install an inverter. This trailer is truly a break from other trailers, it is so nice you might forget you are in a trailer. It took some thought to come up with things that were possibly adjustable. The inverter is always a complaint I have about Brinkley, they are so nice that it just seems petty not to include the inverter and they really don't cost that much overall.

This was really a cool RV and review. With regard to cleaning the outside, if you take the time when you first buy it to do a ceramic coating, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how great the camper will look and how easy it will be to clean. This applies to cars and boats too.

I think those coatings get a bad reputation because some places take top dollar for a "Ceramic coating" only to provide the lowest quality basic application Some of those things are like RainX'ing a windshield though & are great

I have watched this video a few times now and I’m in love with this TT!! We bought our first TT in 2022 - a NOBO 19.2 (22’) - and we’ve loved it and enjoyed it immensely. We are ready to move up to something bigger and this includes EVERYTHING I want including separate bedroom (no Murphy bed to open & close every day & night), roomy bathroom, solid countertops, dual axle, ABS & electronic anti sway, auto leveling (am I right?), rack & pinion slideout, WINDOW FRAMES ARE GORGEOUS (this is a pet peeve of mine in almost all TT’s - I mean, who decorates their home with valances anymore? Nobody! They are ugly!). My first criticism was that it had no dinette, but I’ve really changed my mind about the table desk and I think it would work well. Glad to hear of the modification of the closet to the wall above the dresser as opposed to under the bed. BUT - I could use that under the bed storage for other things. I would love to see a little shorter version - 27-28 feet. And please, add the inverter standard. We were looking, almost exclusively, at Ember for our second camper, but we’ve added the Brinkley I Series to our list of possibilities. Hoping to see them at dealerships in the spring when we plan to start shopping. @Brinkley - let us know if you need a boomer couple to be your “test” focus group! We’re in!

I watch all of your reviews. I've seen so many trailers in this size range. I own a GD 2600RB, which this is very similar to. Other companies have tried similar floor plans, but NONE of them have come close to everything this trailer gives you. Brinkley has nailed it! They have made all of the improvements on my trailers floorplan that I could possibly have expected. And, even before you said it, I too thought I would prefer no shelf under the bathroom sink. Thank you, Josh, for showcasing Brinkley's I265 travel trailer. We've been on the road since early 2019 traveling back-and-forth between coasts. We are eyeing Brinkley (exclusively) on its line-up for a future purchase. I've actually read through all of the reviews for this prototype. Here are our thoughts: Bathroom is well thought out as is (there's a simple solution for trash); Kitchen's L-shaped design is most efficient with plugs under cabinets a brilliant safety feature, the full-size fridge with bottom freezer is forward thinking, pantry built-in with plugs is great as is, and bedroom improvements you mentioned are a plus. Having the bedroom inaccessible on pit-stops is totally acceptable. Two deal-breakers: dual sewer lines and front window. Issue with two sewer lines is self-explanatory for seasoned, full-time campers. Issue with front window presents several problems (compromises overall outer seal and introduces the potential for water leaks, heat loss and very cold head in frigid temps) - completely unnecessary. Thoughts for improvements (not in any. particular order): Vent microwave combo to outside, accommodate face-to-face seating at table, provide fully electrical theatre seating with phone charging ports (and side tables, if possible), install roof covers for fans so they can be used on light rainy days, include a portable camping table and storage sleeve built in, build out a separate battery case compartment large enough for giant lithium and inverter, and tv in living space (not projector). For the designers at Brinkley - keep up the outstanding work you are doing toward innovation and quality/durability. You are changing the RV industry for the better!

@ - I can see that, but I like to spend a few hours looking at my investments every day. A proper desk and big screen is a productivity need not a want. A projection screen is my biggest concern about this. I would need to see that in use to make a purchase decision. Add that being able to watch the morning news, weather, etc. in the mornings is something I love. So while vacationing, YES, a TV is something to be avoided… while traveling it becomes a tool. I’ve altered our travel plans several times due to weather forecasts.

Very nicely done. The bathroom access with the full sized shower is wonderful and would be helpful for folks with mobility issues. The window coverage is grade A. The larger sinks, too. The split level storage under the bed is genius. With the upgrade of the dresser to have hanging area there, gives you options for weather related storage of your clothes. The home theater system may take some getting used to for some, but it is a clean, compact, space saving and useful. I like the idea. Lastly. I'm a big fan of the bar type dining for us as a couple. That one is large enough for two extra place settings if needed. Not a huge space but entirely capable. Nicely done Brinkley

This really has a refined and integrated look , all the cabinets, drawers and window framing look very nicely executed . The color scheme and solid surface counters add to that "step above" feel. The projector tv may not be for everyone but personally I would enjoy it. The exterior aesthetics are obviously subjective to everyone’s tastes but I think they have managed that delicate dance of providing a forward looking trailer that isn’t different just for the sake of looking different.👍

Really hating these pull out table top dining options especially this one. So you have to get on your hands and knees to see what's in the cabinets below it. Wear your hard hat 👷‍♂ Safety first Brinkley Safety first. And that hanging wardrobe that won't hang when the bed is down wrinkling the crap out of your clothes and collecting all the dog hair that's gonna roll up into that open space....no thanks...although I do appreciate the out of the box ideas...Designers do better it's really not that hard

I want to be able to have friends sit with my wife and I and be able to play cards or a board game when its raining out. I want to look across at my wife's face as we have a conversation while eating. The storage under the dinette seats would be more usable storage than what is available here and safer to get to. Now that is some good common sense unlike this design...

Love this new 1/2 ton towable floor plan. We have been waiting for the right couples trailer from Brinkley which we could easily tow with our Ram 1500 😊🎉. Just a couple of options/questions if it possible. Self leveling (would it add on too much weight) Toe kick lighting (for those late night visits to restroom) Someone had commented on a small floor safe under the bed. I think that would be very useful. I like ditching the shelf under the bathroom sink for a waste basket. Also love how Brinkley will add drawers and move the pantry to the right of the fridge 👍🏽 No rig is perfect…But I think you guys came pretty dame close with this one. And thank you Josh as always for the great detailed videos.

I really like this unit and there is almost nothing I’d like to see being different. Bedroom Awesome especially with the updates. Love the storage. Kitchen awesome. Love the cooktop that looks much more useable than the normal 3 burner triangle and I love having a convection oven/Air Fryer. Bathroom awesome. So much great storage. You asked about the decor and I do like it but I also worry the gold is something that is going to get old fast. Fully agree with all the changes coming you highlighted. My one design change I’d like to see is the table. If they could get it to retract flush that would be a plus. I think the reason it doesn’t now is so that you have enough surface when extended. But if you design it with removable leafs then you could go out one click and add a leaf to get what they have now. You could also Potentially go out a second click and add another leaf to be able to seat 4. My other thought is that this frankly isn’t half ton towable. The published tongue weight is ridiculously low being under 10% of the empty weight. Especially with the way the front storage is configured you’ll be a minimum of 12-13% on the tongue so I would figure on at least 1000lbs sitting on the truck from the trailer if not more. Yes there are half tons that can handle that. But as you and JD discussed at this weight level it’s really HD truck territory. Very well done Brinkley. Well with one exception. Total fail on Brinkley’s part letting those yahoos in Canada get the first video out. Josh is just soooooo much better. To compare the two it would be like having the Super Bowl winner take on a Pee Wee league team. The gap is that big. Repeat after me Brinkley. Always always always give the Nerd the first look.

Brinkley and Josh....Allow twin beds to be ordered from the factory with 20% down or something. You can still have the under bed space and center shelves/sidestands. No big change. Or, have pull out drawers under the beds. The dresser of drawers and above hanging closet can move to the center of room between the beds. Leave the beds 2-3 inches from the wall to allow air gap and to put sheets and covers into. The space for TV can go into corner of room with swivel mount

Absolutely love it. My only complaint, get rid of the shelf under the bathroom sink. This would make room for a small trash can. Otherwise perfect after they put a small hanging closet over the dresser. Josh, thanks for the detailed review.

Just showed this to my mom. She loves it, but the one thing she wishes it had is a bump out wardrobe and just leave the drawers as is. The closet space under the bed might be the place for the dog to sleep because she loves sleeping under the bed. :p

BRINKLEY STOLE MY IDEAS! 😃 I have a 22rb Jay Feather and seriously sit inside and stare at it. I imagine removing the entire pantry/TV cabinet to make a FORWARD facing dining bar. Only thing missing would be a window. I thought about a pull down projector screen and projector option while watching another one of your videos just last week! WOW! THIS is NICE I love it! And it's put me into a Brinkley, but in a size that in reality, fits my life, no matter how many time I tell myself I want a bigger camper. Wow. I'm only 2 minutes into the video...hahaha...gotta watch more.... Okay. I love that there's 2 chairs and a place to sit in front of the window. I just can't shake the feeling that I won't feel comfortable at typical table height. Counter height is where it's at...it's more comfortable and makes you feel a bit more, comfortably elevated. I think this is an amazing first run for this camper. I look forward to each year where they tweak the heck out of it and for MORE

Thanks for sharing Josh--it's a beautiful trailer and I'm delighted to see Brinkley move down-market with this 1/2-ton towable trailer, ala Alliance Delta 6 months or so ago (the more competition, the better for consumers). Unfortunately this one doesn't work for me due to weight (our TV has a max capacity of just 7700#). Other than that, love the 2 AC units, design innovations throughout, anti-sway tech is cool, appreciate the upgraded equalizer, but for me, the Hankooks (I'd immediately swap them out for Goodyears) and leaf spring suspension are both big misses (why no torsion?). And while we're at it, while I suspect most consumers will appreciate the versatility of the desk/table arrangement, we're OG and still prefer a traditional dinette, so we can eat ACROSS from one another and see/talk to each other more easily than being next to one another. It's also easier (for us at least) to play games, cards, etc.

I am super excited about the new I series. As soon as I saw my first Brinkley last summer, I wanted one and knew this will be the brand I eventually buy. But I have a 1/2 ton pickup and did not want to buy a bigger truck. I have written to Brinkley a couple of times asking if a smaller version with all the quality of the larger models was in development. I was told it was and now it is here. I have seen a couple of videos and am thrilled to see one live whenever it becomes available at my local CT RV dealer. I am a little concerned about the projection tv and being able to see the images during the day. I also hope there will be a tv in the bedroom. I hope it works. Credit to Brinkley for thinking out of the box. I also really like the double Azdel walls.

Beautiful rig 1. Love the bathroom layout. 2. Unique approach in entertainment is interesting, worth the try. 3. Storage is great. Negatives: 1. Counter space is limited. I do wonder if they would be better off going with a two burner stove given the lack of the oven. A vertically oriented stove would really open up some counter / prep space. 2. It would be great if you could rotate table so you could sit across from someone rather than just "next to someone".
