i think it was more of an accomplishment for the fact that kat was put up against someone who has already been in the music spot light. she's proven that she has a lot of talent, and i'm so happy for her.

I'm going to get me some cat ears for the next time I watch Kat's performance. I'm with Joel. The other girl's voice might have been technically on point; but, there's just something about Kat. She's by no means as poised; but, she's natural and passionate, quirky and humble, and a heck of a lot more fun to watch. And she can pull out the big guns when she needs to. Now, where are my cat ears? :)

Haven't seen this before. But for me....Hayley had the edge pretty much from the start, but midway....in a split second Kat just ripped the battle away from Hayley and totally owned it. Great battle by both.

I think they both had a great and fantastic performance, they both should be saved and pass to the next stage. I actually don't like this kind of music, but I truly enjoyed this particular presentation, it's powerful, so much better than K. Perry's original version.

Yes Hayley technically sung it better. But Kat has an amazing stage presence and charisma. And whatever she was lacking vocally in 2014 could be taught because she is clearly an amazing vocalist to begin with. That’s why Kylie chose her ❤️😺

I didn't really like Kat, so much tryhard and dominating the "battle" with louder and cutting through voice, but not that great of a voice at least not compared to Hayley, her voice is beautiful. I think they judge too much by who won the "battle" and not who has the best voice in general

thats why they call it "The Battles", the winner of the batle wins. The only thing that hayley show in this batle was range and that beaultiful tune that she has. Kat did show dinamics above all and killed the battle, while hayley was way too straight foward.
