adamddr I love that you said that because there was a game on the Wii called Endless Ocean that has songs sung by her as you explore the sea. This song introduced the game, so you aren't wrong about the feel of the song xD

I can only imagine how much confidence in one's own abilities it must take to walk out on that stage before such a huge audience, lift the microphone up, and start the song without any music at all. Throughout the entire concert hall there wasn't another sound from anyone or anything. There was just the sheer grace and beauty of this lovely lady's voice and her presence. How fortunate we all are to be able to witness this kind of talent.

I agree...I was on the Nintendo "wii" web site, and there's a game called "Endless Ocean", I went to the site and I heard this song playing. I've never heard a purer voice in my life. At first I thought it might be some kind of studio trick to get someone to sound that good, but after watching this live performance, I'm convinced. She is unbelievably amazing! I just had to find out who this was.

This was my 1st easy listening cd. I was angry at my girlfriend & 1 day I went to K-mart. I pick up this cd out of anger, not thinking about what am doing. I bought the cd along with some other stuff. Then went in my truck & put the cd in & drove off. As I was listening to prayer it hit me so hard. That I started to cry because her voice & the melody touched me.

I dont usually listen to music like this. I was searching for Hayley Williams out of paramore. and instead a link came up saying did you mean Hayley Westenra. So I clicked it and I found some of her songs. She quite good. I never noticed the name on Endless Ocean and then realised this was her. Its good music but its just not me. She is still amazing. Its not every day you get singers like that whilst most boys are into rapping not realising that there are singers like this.
