I‘m just gonna write this before I forget: I highly recommend getting the BlueRay for Season 2. The production staff was under a lot of pressure while producing the second season and couldn’t complete some of the episodes in time, the version of Episode 17 they have on the BlueRay straight up has more scenes and feels more coherent as a whole. No story was skipped though, just action so it‘s totally up to you if you want to get the BlueRay or not

I know its not explained in depth and its hard to focus on while its happening, but gojo's domain shows a person literally everything that has or is happening, and since everything is constantly happening and there is no stopping point, they are stuck in a state of 'constant experience' and are basically brought to a halt due to an information overload.

Gojo's infinity techniques work kind of like how Pain in Naruto has Almighty Push and Pull. Reversal Red is the Push (or divergence) part of that equation. When he said convergence and divergence, that's an explanation of a couple of his techniques. Convergence is when things come together (pull) and divergence is when things split apart (push) and then the question he asked afterwards about what happens when you touch the void where convergence and divergence meet. The answer is nothingness or nonexistence

Gojo's eyes are special. His occular powers are greater than normal and therefore, demand excessive amounts of cursed energy. Therefore he wears a blindfold just like people wear sunglasses in sunlight.

It's not that his eyes burn through his cursed energy and so he needs to stop them but rather the amount of physical and mental fatigue from constantly taking in all that information wears him down and can be overwhelming so he stifles it with the blindfold. Even with it on though he's able to see like any regular person.

No, it's wrong. The eyes receive too much information, that's all. His eyes don't consume too much cursed energy, in fact the six eyes (Gojo's eyes) burn cursed energy to almost zero.

@fedej7 No, that's wrong Gojo has increased his proficiency to the level that his cursed energy usage when utilising techniques is almost 0. The eyes are a physical trait and don't use cursed energy. They only cause physical and mental fatigue. The eyes don't have a technique associated to them and as such require no cursed energy.

Yeah, Gojo, wears the blindfold for sensory deprivation because of his power. Otherwise, it gets overwhelming for him. Also, this show is heavily inspired by an OG anime classic Naruto. Definitely a must watch at some point.

This series is really great. If your enjoying it and want something that is similar I recommend a series called World Trigger. It has a complex power system and very strategic and well coriographed fights. Gojo is in some ways inspired by the character Jin from it.

Gojo is just THAT powerful. If Jogo were facing any other Jujutsu sorcerer, they would all have a much more difficult time trying to exercise him or would just get incinerated to death.

Jogo is not weak at all, you'll see. It's just that Gojo is HIM, so it's overkill for him lol. To be able to tank Gojo's hits so many times is no easy or small feat. Jogo is durable as hell. Almost every cursed spirit/sorcerer would get annihilated by those techniques of Gojo's.

I think this might be the episode that I fell in love with the strategizing of JJK's battles. The best battles in anime are more than throwing fists at each other, it's an opportunity to teach the viewer about the feelings, goals, mindsets of the combatants. Gojo whooped Jogo so hard, and he knew that the Cursed Spirit was smart enough to realize his only way to bypass Infinity was a Domain Expansion, and probably strong enough to pull one off. For Gojo it was just the next logical step in their fight. Knowing it's the next move Jogo would throw out, he left to grab Yuji and straight up tells him he's taking him to learn about Domains. "Oh, this guy is definitely going to try a Domain Expansion next, and then I'll use my Domain and overwhelm his. This will be a great opportunity for Yuji to learn all about their benefits and weaknesses in a 'controlled' environment." *Chefs kiss*
