I've seen A GAZILLION people saying "I'm never gonna watch One Piece" who watched OPLA because "Ok, 8 eps, I can do that" and are now caught up to the manga, even. That's the thing, the Live Action is GOOD, you get a taste of Oda's world and say "Ok, this was really good, I wonder how much it differs from the original" with the intention of reading/watching up to Arlong Park. Thing is, as every One Piece fan knows, Arlong Park is the turning point. Once you've watched it, you either love One Piece, and it will stay with you forever, or you should drop the series entirely (because you are dead inside). How can a human being watch/read One Piece up to Arlong Park and stop? It's just not possible.

I love how shocked Lucchi looked when he caught a glimpse at the Blueprints‘ contents. As part of his cover, he aquired the skills and knowledge of a first-rate shipwright so he knew exactly what he was looking at and that someone as controlled as him reacted like this gives us a hint at how powerful Pluton must have been.

Lucci and Kaku were probably the two best shipwrights (after Iceburg and Franky) in the island with the best shipwrights in the world. They might not be able to put together exactly what it is, but to realize it's the real deal, for a professional, it's not that difficult. Show an architect a glimpse of the blueprints for a luxury skyscraper and of the ones for a small office complex, and they surely will be able to tell the difference
