Google messages actually offer a plethora of options within the message app. I switched because I was tired of the same old thing every year. The customization and all of the things that you can do with a Samsung or even a Google pixel. My suggestion is use both platforms and see which one you gravitate to more

Im a mobile developer for both and Im glad that you did a good in depth talk about them(Although I feel apple should have had a few more of those points). Apple is fine to use, but there are tons of restrictions placed by apple on their software. People who aren't technical or just are apple fanboys(Great marketing) don't seem to want to give Samsung and Android a chance. People don't get upset because someone found something they like better than Apple/iPhones. You guys aren't on Apples payroll, calm down....They have great marketing to trap you into their ecosystem(android a little too) but you have options....Don't bash android just because you don't understand their underlying software and hardware at all...

Samsung has features you don't know you need but once you get to know them it's hard to pass it up. I was an iPhone user for a very long time and it got spoilt so i needed something to use. I took my bro's s22ultra since he was using his s23ultra. Features like the edge panel into split screen, message scheduling, back gesture and freedom to install any app when it's not in the apple store. I have the 24ultra now, and that ai feature where u can search up anything is too good. My ignorant self was always arguing iPhone is better but wow!!!! Until you use Samsung in depth you will never know. I just hope Damsung improve their video quality in snapchat. Buh for the other features i love it.

I've seen a lot of KZbinrs get this wrong. The titanium on the S24 Ultra does not make it lighter. iPhone switched from stainless steel to titanium, which is a heavier metal to a lighter metal. But the Galaxy switched from aluminum to titanium, which is a lighter metal to a heavier metal.

I’ve always had great Samsung phones, but one day I decided to give Apple a try, and I regret it. I started with the IPhone 13. It was ok, nothing special, then I traded for the 14 Pro Max. Same thing as the 13 but bigger, and very problematic. I was on the phone with Apple customer support list about every other week, plus it seems like the replacements I would receive was not better. After 5 replacements, I was over it and traded up to the 15 pro max. This 15 Pro Max is no better than the 14 Pro Max I traded. I never had not even 1 issue out of my Galaxy series phones, but I’ve had a ton of issues with all my Apple phones.

@@nicknemiroff1417 a lot of the iPhones features are not always seen or mentioned, MagSafe for example, the satellite emergency thing , and a bunch of other things too , even the accessories like the Apple Watch is clearly superior to Samsung’s, iOS eco system which is arguably better than Samsungs, clearly mate , the galaxy is not really a winner over the iPhone, it’s just different, and we didn’t even mention support with apple doing its updates , which not only are they on time but Apple manages to their device updates all over the world usually within 24 hours , where as Android and galaxy’s which are probably the best of Android devices at updates are still a patchy mess with updates that vary by device , by location and can be a frustration at times, and I have been an Android boy since 2012 . No doubt the galaxy is a good phone, but just like the Apple devices it’s not good everywhere, it’s really a matter of choice which you prefer.

I enjoyed the comparison. However, as an iPhone, iPad and Mac user, there simply is no comparison when it comes to integration. There are some work arounds for this when using a S24 to PC, but they are clunky at best, and nearly zero when using a Mac or iPad. It is this reason that it keeps me in the Apple ecosystem. I think the S24 Ultra is the best phone, but for me, I can't trade the lack of compatibility to switch.

Yes, if you are a Mac and/or an iPad user, and along with the Apple Watch, the ecosystem is so much better integrated that it is impossible to swap now. Hopefully, rivals will learn and make theirs better, but it appears that they are unable to close the gap, and Samsung was one of the major complainers to the DOJ to get Apple to reduce their ecosystem advantage so that they are not as far ahead.

dont forget that the s24 ultra can charge other devices w wireless power sharing 😊 i know the s23 ultra had that too but its way too handy to pass up! also, the selfie camera on the s24 ultra can put live filters on your camera & it can even do things like slim your jawline in real time lol. i was SO excited when i saw that! love my samsung 😍

For me phones are such a big part of our social and family lives from how we communicate to pictures, and that’s why I always stick with the iPhone. If I wanna take pics to eventually print and put in a photo album, or make a family home video, FaceTime quality, etc you’re just not gonna get better than the iPhone. Yeah being a tech and specs geek when it comes to the androids is cool, but my goodness does the actually quality of lively things that can bring life long memories such as those things brought down. I know it sounds ridiculous but that’s how impactful these phones are now.

The base iphone still comes with a 60hz refresh rate and lasts gens chip. The S24 comes with 120hz and the new gen chip. So vaule for money the s24 wins hands down. It sucks that iphone nerfs there phone so yall buy the bigger ones.

$726 out the door for the S24 Ultra with 512GB storage pre-order with a Note 20 Ultra trade-in. Samsung wins on value for me. I didn't get much when I traded an iPhone to upgrade to another iPhone. Before the 7 years of software support for Samsung, I would have said that spread over the six to seven years of use of an iPhone, the iPhone would have better value.

Right now the s24 Ultra is clearly better than the iPhone 15 PM, but it's a never-ending battle, because the iPhone 16PM will certainly be better than the s24 Ultra but the s25 will probably be better than the 16 PM. Also keep in mind that the time difference in releases is 7 months between the Samsung Galaxy and the latest iPhone, and only 5 months between the latest iPhone and the next Galaxy. So in this regard, Samsung must work harder, which also deserves to be applauded.

The S4 ultra has very sharp edges and so it is a pain in the ass to use it. however much I love that enormous screen of the 24 ultra, I love more the comfortability of the iphone. The only thing I see so special about the ultra is the AI and s.pen. the rest, iphone handles well (speed, cameras and value) - for me customisation is really not important, and one hour of different battery isn't that too much of an issue...but yeah, both phones are beasts.

@@jayefyve9212 apart from AI, these two definitely don't have a major differences when you look closely. and yeah, for comfort and value, for me the iPhone takes it. I use it mainly for camera fotos and vids. but allow me to say something out of context. I have been to different countries and I can assure you that no matter the price of a Samsung (android in general), the iPhone has big big admiration within different communities. I love Android but from the time I started using iOs, I really don't see the need for that color of customization, and yeah, onetime, one girl gave me her number just because I had an iPhone. It is still seen as a model of hierarchy in many countries. am sorry but this is the damn truth...and it hurts.
