Watkins incoming? BIG game against City! Can Gunners cope without Raya? Plenty to discuss
@jc60874 сағат бұрын
Looking into Haalands eyes is like looking into the eyes of a fish, the emptyness is profound. What is rather alarming though is the tell-tale signs of heavy HGH (human growth hormone) especially his facial features. It appears that he had what's called a "modified puberty" where the puberty window is used to mask the usage of HGH and testosterone derivatives. The height and strength gains made from a 'modified puberty' are permanent just like normal steroid use which is why there's usually a very long even lifetime ban for their usage because they give you a permanent physiological advantage. And before you poo-poo me think about this, what are people willing to do for a couple quid let alone for the kind of money top footballers earn...

It’s not can, they routinely do because of mass incompetence and not taking accountability for their errors- VAR fails to hold them to account. Players aren't commodities, and it takes the buying club, the selling club and the player to agree. Watkins is an example (whether you agree with idea of getting him or not). Arsenal would not have bid without indication from him he would join. But Villa will refuse. Elite forwards generally won't move in January. Some forward is needed. But I doubt it will be a big name.

@@robinhocezar738 it’s just excuses you are making, if Man City can sign 5 players in this window and other clubs one or two, there is absolutely no excuse, a club won’t turn down a good offer no matter the month of the window, it’s just penny pinching and not wanting to be ambitious. The fact they left it this late with Saka injured end of December and Jesus a bit after, we need players and they should have sorted this far earlier. All I hear is monitoring or interest, it’s not acceptable. They need to get someone in asap.

Why Mikel Arteta Is the Worst Manager in Arsenal History Lowest Standards for Success Arteta’s tenure has been marked by a dramatic lowering of expectations at Arsenal. Arsenal, a club with a rich history of competing for Premier League titles and European trophies, has instead settled for “top-four finishes” as a measure of success under his management. The very identity of the club as a perennial winner has been diminished. Failure in Major Competitions Arteta’s inability to deliver major trophies since his FA Cup win in 2020 is a glaring failure. Despite significant investment in the squad, Arsenal has consistently fallen short in both the Premier League and European competitions. The club’s repeated collapses in high-pressure situations (e.g., the 2022/23 Premier League title race) demonstrate his inability to lead the team to glory. Record Spending, Minimal Returns Arteta has had the benefit of over £700 million in transfers, yet the club has not seen the returns expected from such heavy investment. Players like Nicolas Pépé, Fábio Vieira, and others have failed to justify their price tags under his management, reflecting poor decision-making and questionable talent identification. Inconsistent Results Arsenal’s inconsistency has been a hallmark of Arteta’s reign. While the team occasionally strings together good performances, they crumble against top opposition or in critical moments. This has left Arsenal unable to establish itself as a dominant force under Arteta’s leadership. Poor Player Management Arteta has a history of alienating and mismanaging key players. From the public fallout with Mesut Özil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the inconsistent use of Nicolas Pépé, he has shown an inability to maximize the potential of his squad. His favoritism toward certain players has created imbalance and stifled competition within the team. Tactical Ineptitude Arteta’s rigid and predictable tactics have often been exposed by more experienced managers. He struggles to adapt in key games, frequently being outclassed by top-tier coaches like Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp, and others. This lack of tactical flexibility has cost Arsenal vital points and trophies. Lack of Credentials Arteta was hired without any prior managerial experience, and it shows. His appointment was a gamble, and it has become clear that he lacks the expertise to manage a club of Arsenal’s stature. Proven winners like Carlo Ancelotti, Zinedine Zidane, or even Antonio Conte were available when Arteta was hired, yet the club chose an unproven candidate. Rewarded for Failure Arteta is the second-highest-paid manager in the world, yet his results don’t justify such a lucrative salary. This sends the wrong message to fans and players: mediocrity is acceptable at Arsenal. Damaged Arsenal’s Legacy Under Arteta, Arsenal has gone from being a club known for its beautiful football and consistent silverware to a mid-table team that celebrates minor achievements. Fans are watching as the club’s heritage and ambition are eroded. Comparison to Previous Managers Arsène Wenger: Wenger consistently delivered top-four finishes, played attractive football, and won multiple trophies, including three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups. Arteta, by comparison, has achieved far less with far more resources. Unai Emery: Emery was sacked for not meeting expectations, yet his record (a Europa League final and higher win percentage) arguably surpasses Arteta’s. The Verdict Mikel Arteta’s tenure represents the worst managerial period in Arsenal’s history. Despite enormous financial backing, he has failed to deliver results, alienated key players, and overseen a lowering of standards that has damaged the club’s reputation. Arsenal needs a proven winner with the experience and vision to restore the club’s legacy, not a manager learning on the job. Sack this piece of 💩
