Captain Sandy is a bully when it comes to Kiko. If she had any managerial or EQ skills whatsoever, she would be aware that some people don’t respond well to micro-management and a constant barrage of negative feedback. She should have adjusted her management style and tried to be a better manager.

I would hire this guy. Getting fired over the Vegas theme food, so what, he just needed the right coaching. Hannah failed him unintentionally. Captain sandy you can’t expect the chef to know a million things. The right managing goes a long way.

Kiko for me was the best chef of the show. Do not create any problems with the crew. Cooking very good. It's sad they have some problems with the guest. And is really crazy luxury boat like those have only a chef whitout Sous chef or even any assistant.

He’s a very sweet soul. He’s so busy I’m the kitchen and stopped to apologize for bumping into someone accidentally (probably they were in his way). Most chefs would throw a fit and be pissy. He’s. Never been a hot head out of all the below decks I’ve watched.

They are all small portions so that they can fit it all in. This is similar when you go to michelin star restaurants for taster menus (I’ve heard 😂)

Downfall of the Sjef is not the food, it is the time constraint and there should be a sjef's assistant at all times. It should be a priority. Every time the guests are waiting for their meals. Definately an area to be improved.

that is Sandy's big problem. She gives more value on her customers then on her own taste. As a captain you are allowed to debate your customers, that the complaints are rediculous. But she never does that, she only bends over to the customers.

Kiko tried his best...he was facing supercritique from rich, drunk guests. They dine at michelin star restaurants on land and demand the same from the chef who work at sea on vessels that dont have the same equipment ,staff and / or manpower. Unfortunately, Kiko worked on his own in a dysfunctional galley in a several million pound yacht with a dysfunctional cooker that didn't work properly...serving 8 to start with..and with random guests, unplanned , he had to serve 12 guests on a 6 course menu at short notice. That was 72 plated meals......I cried for this guy..he tried his best. And those "invited" guests had no business to be there. or to complain..if that yacht went down..even if docked..those souls were not logged or accounted for. Would that not go against Maritime Law? And one last word....the Captain is the hirer and firer....perhaps they bear a responsibility also Get your vessels up to good standards...dont expect good service until you give good a chef all he needs. Fuck..a million pound yacht but you tell your chef to fuck off...and fire him because the foods not warm...i think you are nasty!
