Hahahaha my cousin had kids to a cousin. Broke up for years and got back together and had more. Yeah it's absolutely pharcked up, but those kids didn't do anything wrong by existing. Why is Heather bringing up her family problems as a reason to support her for her relationship problems? It doesn't make her more sympathetic, but more suspicious. Like, as someone who has been estranged from family before, there is generally a reason your children grey rock you or go no contact. If anything, this situation will make Mary more sympathetic because it will allow her to open up about being on the receiving end of abuse from neglect.
