The competition part between Lucifer and Alastor was more just shown if you looked at how the other was reacting while the one was talking. It gave a hint of Alastor wanting to be the most powerful being in the room, creating a rivalry not just for Charlie but also Alastor wanting to prove something that Lucifer doesn't realize is there at first. Alastor standing beside the door, his greeting to Lucifer and the insults. He was trying for a power-play to show he's better in any way than Lucifer is. Petty but I'm curious to see how that goes.

❓ I haven't heard anyone mention either that since sir snake boy died and ended up in heaven. That means Adam when he died he is in hell. Because he never made it back to heaven he didn't reincarnate next to sir snake man. So he is probably in hell now alive. BUT it might work differently if you are killed in hell and also deserve to be in hell. Because all of the citizens who are killed in the extermination every year they don't just reincarnate back into hell or heaven. Otherwise there would be no point in the extermination at all because it's due to overpopulation . So their souls must just be dead forever. There's a possibility Adam is just gone. But I think it's more likely he's going to be reincarnated in hell. And then if he is killed again as a demon and still deserves to be in hell then his soul just disappears or whatever. It's also possible that the souls aren't disappearing that are killed during the extermination in hell. It's possible they are reincarnated as humans. We just don't know. I think it's more interesting story wise if Adam does reincarnate in hell with the gang and now he gets to conspire with the enemies the hotel has already made.

Yup. Just a musical theatre kid with a passion for animation working together with some of her idols. Its honestly incredible that she has gotten this far, I remember the first time she ever announced she was working on Hazbin Hotel. And that basically came because a fan animated music video of hers to a Kesha song went viral 10 years ago! And as if that wasnt crazy enough, she even got Kesha to star in the other show she makes, Helluva Boss, with an original song no less!

I'm surprised I don't see many comments attacking people for enjoying the show. As someone who loves the show even though I am aware that it has poor pacing weird characters and alot of pandering, but I love it regardless. I personally believe the pacing can be fixed by having the same episode release format as other indie shows, so it kind of works with real time and feels less rushed

I think both shows are really good and have their own strengths, I can tell from watching hazbin that it’s the main story they wanted to tell but especially with the low episode count they can’t tell it exactly how they want. Where the other show is able to do exactly what it wants but doesn’t have as big a story tell or quite as much consistency, but the freedom it has is clear and the lore of the different rings and their princes is so appealing to me, and of course the songs from both are so good that I truly don’t know which is my favorite ost, the eternal struggle of loser baby vs stolas’ lullaby

I think what you're overlooking is that even with Alastor's devil-may-care (ha) attitude, he put more effort in for Charlie in a few weeks than Lucifer had for years. A point that was anplified as Lucifer blathered on about how pointless her goal was while the hotel was being attacked, as Alastor, and not him, was protecting it.

The confusion with Alastor and Lucifer was strange cause it was set up very clearly that Alastor dislikes not being the strongest in the room, he tried to seem a father figure to Charlie not because that's what he wants but because that gives him POWER over Lucifer. If charlie is on his side and views him as a father figure or mentor, he has something to hold over the literal king of hell, and Alastor would want nothing more than to have that kind of power
