Something I find interesting about the design of Alastor vs. Vox is the use of smiles and eyes. Alastor's smile takes up most of his face, at all times. no matter how he feels, no matter how in control he is or isn't, the smile stays as his most prominent feature. Vox, similarly, puts a big smile on as much as he can. Just like Alastor, he lets it take up most of his face. But unlike Alastor, he breaks character a LOT, making it look like he's just imitating what Al does naturally. Which is really a theme for Vox, considering how much... inspiration he takes from Al. Deciding to run his own podcast after seeing Alastor do the same, trying to be this big charming manipulative overlord that Al was for a long time... I'm surpriced we don't see him trying to make any soul-binding deals. Edit: and his clothes too, are quite similar to Al!
