My husband’s grandfather was a preemie. Born in the 1880’s he was put in a cigar box and kept near the wood stove for warmth. He died in 1974 at the age of 95.

I, too, was a premee, 2 months premature, weighing three pounds. Born at home, Too risky to be moved to incubator I was kept at home . This was in 1947 when we were not as advanced as today. I am now 77 years old and consider myself to be a miracle baby and a survivor!

I too had pre-eclampsia and my son was born at 29 weeks weighing 2.3lbs and was 14.5 inches tall... He is now 45 and has had no lasting effects from being born so early.. Praising God for these little miracles.

My nephew was born at 24 weeks. Talk about a roller coaster. He weighed a little over 2 pounds but lost down to under a pound. He was in 3 different hospitals for a total of 7 months. He has required several life saving surgeies and God led them all. He will be 32 next week. His health isn't perfect but God keeps us all going. It takes entire families to give these children a running chance. Thank God for his miracles.

I was an extreme preemie too - not nearly as premature as her obviously (I was born at 26 weeks weighing 2 pounds, spent 48 days in the NICU), but she is a miracle! I hope the best for her quality of life growing up - I am fortunate to have very mild autism and physical/medical disabilities and am working on my BA (I plan to eventually get a Masters and possibly a PhD to study autism and intellectual disability) as we speak! She will probably face far more challenges than I ever have, but I wish her the best!

It’s bittersweet they are giving 22 weekers a chance now which I’m greatful for the other parents that they do. I had my baby at 22 weeks 5 days and they just let him die. He stayed with me for 45 minutes until he left me on this earth I will always love him. It honestly messed me up for a long time mentally I felt so cheated because I wanted more time with him he was my first baby. I had two more children both were early born at 32 and 33 weeks the ptsd was really hard but I got through it . I’m sure I drove my ob nuts at times but he understood.

Why bring attention to her short comings of what we consider "normal"?? Why not bring attention to the fact this child survived?? I'll never understand other people's judgement. Nor will I understand why people feel the need to bring attention to what's considered "short comings" to normal children. She is what she is. A " normal baby" for what she's gone through.

this is about life, a baby's life is precious at any stage... it’s hard to me to believe that there are pro-abortions in this world (a.cruel murders of such little defenceless innocent children) and it’s legal💔... Watch the video of former doctors, especially nurses, who talk about how cruel killed that small defenceless babies, some of them were still alive on a table and then cruelly murdered by twisting their qneck, breaking baby's spine, how the alive baby’s legs were torn off and he survived...Please protect the defenseless innocent babies in the womb, join pro-life, help to educate a new generation to live responsible, specially in reproductive health ... An abortion propaganda is a vile lie, it dirty bloody business, it is never a healthcare...Being pregnant is always a Childbirth; in one case (in the right case) baby born alive and given for adoption, for example. In the second case, the brutal murder of an innocent defenceless baby without any justification. There are no medical reason for it ( ask former abortioninsts), a baby can born prematurely and healthcare providers fighting for his life. Rape? Is it baby's fault? ...Join pro-life movement, this movie shows how important is the life of each baby...wanted or not wanted it is not about "choice", it is about being human or monster...
