I never wouldve thought to use poppy seeds! I just use used coffee grounds, makes a great exfoiliant. Beautiful tho!

Hi all, I'm in a remote part of Australia, and wondered if anyone could point me out a great site for soap making. My skin gets really dry here and most of us are in need of a good calming soap. These soaps look divine and I've used a cold soap before with great results. The only problem is limited space for fripperies. If they came as fat, oils and lye, well now, that would be easier to slip past the boss lol

It can be used for scent depending on your batch size. I used that small amount for a big batch. I’m not sure how much of the scent came through.

Beautiful! Holy cow! What made it accelerate? I had one that did that yesterday. I was inadvertently doing a drop swirl (I more so wanted layers but needed thin batter) and within doing 2 lines of 2 colors all of a sudden 💥 thickening. Ruh roh! It still turned out but jeez.

Usually I will just whisk the lye solution and oils together then stick blend each layer. But this time I stick blended in the beginning so it thickened faster because I’m soaping at a higher temperature using the heat transfer method :/
