Y’know. Ever since I first finished Oneshot I never stopped missing Niko. Like an old friend. Even if they’re supposed to be fictional it feels more like they’re somewhere else in reality in some other time. Somewhere I’ll never get to see, because I was never meant to. I’ve done everything I was supposed to do with Niko and now we’ve parted ways between the universe. I’ll never see them again, and it’s supposed to be that way. We only had one shot with them. Oneshot is always going to be a very special game to me, it's not exceptional, you can call it a walking sim and be pretty much right, but there's a joy in the simplicity of it all, and how despite it, it tells an exceptionally compelling story, I first played the game during some of the worst time of my life, where most of what I felt was just...nothing, I felt dead and numb to the world, but this game was a key factor in reminding me that I wasn't, even if life was bad, there was plenty to be joyful about, to be angry about, and to be heartbroken about, even if they're negative emotions, feeling those emotions is what fills life with wonder, how we react to things is everything, and I'll always be thankful Oneshot was able to remind of that when I most needed it

I've playd Oneshot quite a time ago, but the talk with this guy, and the time he gave Niko punckakes for free was one of the moments that are really memoreble, at least for me. One shot is one of the best games I've playd in terms of the atmosphere and connection to the world that you play in with Niko! Thanks so much for this animation, its beautifull, and voice acting! Oh my god that was AMAZING! I am not the person to usually write comments but I'll gladly change that here... First of all the art fits the world of one shot so much! And the voice acting was great! Though the greatest thing about the animation in my opinion was how you altered the scene! At first I thought it was going to be the same scene from the game just animated. And while that wasn't going to be bad! I am glad that wasn't the case!

Funny enough... this year is the 10th anniversary of my own charecter... and i admittedly feel a bit lost like niko... the years almost over and i hardly had the motivation to celebrate or make something special... I though more progress would come out of this year, i though everything would be fixed... yet despite all my problems... i am still trying an "impossible" project... maybe not the most important animation ever... but all that matters is that it can make people happy... and that it makes me happy. So maybe my progress to write has been halted by writers block,.. and newer work lost due to my tablet breaking... but i still remember... much like how OneShot asks it's player to remember it's world... i still remember mine... and it won't go away because it's not just a story... it's something that lives in my imagination and emotions. I still feel down... and i might for a while... but i can still choose to work on my stories bit by bit... like OneShot, i have stories to tell. And i hope maybe one day... it can make others feel as special to them as it does to me :)

@NeosGoogle There's a guilt free way to play again, actually. If you load up the game, it'll show the title again, with "Start", "Options", "Exit", and "...", which is new. If you select the "..." a certain character will talk to you and give you the option to play in a "Recording" of the game. Niko is home now, and nothing can change that. But if you want to play again (and maybe hunt for achievements) you can, as a reflection of him.

I’m a little late to the party, but this animation was so dang good! OneShot is one of the most underrated indie games I’ve ever played, and Niko is such an adorable and likable protagonist. And this animation perfectly captures the emotion that the original scene gave off, and then some. I’m hoping this game gets some form of official recognition for its 10th anniversary. It really deserves it. Happy 10th birthday, OneShot! And technically Niko as well.

(a couple of days ago I remembered this dialogue and made these hazelnut pancakes, they've out delicious. and now this animation has come out) it's.amazing, I'm a big oneshot fan, it was my first rpg that inspired me to start learning skills to make games myself; composing music, draw and stuff. i was 11, and this game remains my favorite rpg maker game, I still love to draw Niko sometimes in my notebooks.
