I’ve been a hazlettizer for a while now, found you last year scrolling through an Indie Playlist, Hesitate was my first love, blame the moon is an inspirational favourite for sure, I love this one too, it just hits different, you know how to find that musical sweet spot for sure, I’ve always been into indie/folk music, you’re certainly up there with the likes of Jose Gonzalez, Gregory Alan Isakov, Geographer, Ben Howard and more, honestly, your the vibe.. I’m 23 and music is everything to me, and I know good music when I hear it, I introduced you to my partner, to my dad, and my brothers, let’s just say your music travelled fast and was loved just as instant, keep up the good work ! ​@thisishazlett I discovered your music while my father was battling Stage 4 kidney cancer. We lost him at 11:58pm pst on February 8th. Since then you've been my go too in some dark times. He fell into a coma three days before he left us. I played Slow Running and Tell Me What You Dream About on my phone and held it to his ear the day before he took his last breath. Even though he was unconscious, I 100% believe he heard them. Thank you again for the beauty you've given us and for that which is still to come.
