Using his mastery of Arabic balagha (eloquence), Hazrat Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani refutes what the Shia attempt to derive from this narration in that they purport it proves that Hazrat Ali (Allah be pleased with him) should have been the immediate Khalifa after the passing of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
