In sura Nuh ayat no 15 Allah SWT asks haven't you seen the 7 heavens created as platters on each other. The question is asked as if that was a common observation of people. So likely that the people of that time would be able to travel through the heavens and knew their make and number.

آپ کی ویڈیو دیکھی۔ مختلف موضوع ھے۔ موضوع کے مختلف ہونے کی وجہ سے سوچا آپ سے ایک سوال کرلوں شاید میری زہنی اور روحانی اذیت کم یا ختم ہو سکے۔ میں ایک عام کلمہ گو ہوں۔ وقت ملے تو تلاوت کر لیتا ہوں۔ اور ایسے ہی موقعہ ملے تو دین کے بارے میں کوئی ویڈیو لیکچر دیکھ لیتا ہوں۔ میرے سوال کا مقصد ہرگز کسی (اور یا اللہ) پر جھوٹ باندھنا نہیں ھے اور نہ استغفراللہ قرآن کی غلط تشریح کرنا ھے۔ یہ ساری تفصیل کا مقصد یہ بھی ھے کہ کوئی توہین کا نعرا نہ لگا دے۔ میں جاننے کی جستجو میں بے موت مرنا نہیں چاہتا۔ آیات اللہ کی نشانیاں ہیں۔ اور مجھے ایسے محصوس ہوتا ھے کہ نشانی کی اندر بھی نشانیاں ہیں۔ ( layers of understanding) تہہ در تہہ فہم ۔۔ امید ھے میں اپنی بات سمجھا پا رھا ھوں۔ 1- کیا تلاوت کرتے ہوئے آپ نے محصوس کیاھے؟ کہ بعض آیات باوجود مختلف سورۃ میں ہونے کے آپس میں جڑی ہوئی ہیں۔ایسی ہی کچھ آیات میں دو شخصیات کا ذکر ھے۔ جو میری زہنی اور روحانی اذیت کا سبب بنی ہیں۔ ان آیت کی تلاوت کرتے ہوئے مجھے یہ گمراہ کن گمانِ غالب ہونے لگا ھے کہ یہ شخصیت/شخصیات اس دنیائے فانی میں مختلف ادوار میں کم از کم دو بار ائی ہیں۔ (re-animated). دوسری بات ایک لحاظ سے تھوڑی سی مختلف ھے لیکن منسلک ہی سمجھی جا سکتی ھے۔ اسکا اشارہ محفوظ اشارہ ھے- کوئی خلاف واقعہ بات نہیں سمجھے گا اور نا توہین۔ (امید ھے) تو میں صاف بتا دیتا ہوں۔ سورۃ المسد (111) میں ابو لھب ۔۔ اگر آپ جانتے ہیں کہ لھب کس شخصیت کی طرف اشارہ ھے۔ تو آپ ابو لھب (چچا نہیں) کو بھی جانتے ہونگے۔ آپ لھب (انکے دوسرے اور تیسرے نام) اور ابو لھب (کے دوسرے نام) والی آیات پڑھیں کیا یہ انکا بار بار اس دنیا میں آنا صحیح ھے یا مجھے کسی ڈاکٹر کے پاس جا کر اپنے دماغ کا علاج کرنا چاھئے اور تلاوت سے پرہیز کرنا چاھئے۔ 2- اگر صحیح تو یہ بار بار کیوں آ رھے ہیں۔ پلیز نوٹ یہ مسیح ابن مریم کے علاوہ شخصیات ہیں جو بار بار آ رہی ہیں۔

The point I am missing to understand about Ashab e Kahf is, whether they slept or time travelled, it happend through a miracle and not a scientific device. So both possibilities are there in my opinion. And I think this debate is futile.
