Assalam O Alikum welcome to this video today I will tell you The martyrdom of Hazrat Usman ibn Affan (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) is a significant and tragic event in Islamic history. He was the third Caliph of Islam, and his reign lasted for about twelve years.
In the final years of his caliphate, some people became dissatisfied with his governance, accusing him of corruption and nepotism. These dissenters gathered in Madina and laid siege to Hazrat Usman's house. Despite the pressure, Hazrat Usman (R.A.) refused to fight back and sought peaceful resolution.
Eventually, the rebels broke into his house and killed him while he was reciting the Quran. His martyrdom occurred in 656 CE (35 AH). This event caused immense grief and anger among the Muslim community and marked the beginning of significant turmoil and division within the Islamic ummah.
Before his death, Hazrat Usman (R.A.) exemplified patience and tolerance, always promoting unity and peace. His assassination is remembered as one of the most sorrowful episodes in Islamic history.
