We've had quite a few requests to get an update on Mike's favorite distributed ledger project, HBAR. Mike, I recently kinda of finished your hidden secrets of money series (still missing 2 episodes), I stopped when you were talking about crypto and then I went out to look for information regarding that. After that I was doing some research regarding hash graph and then I got to this video. While I was watching that, a video just popped up in the recommeded videos section, and that was a video talking about BLACKROCK plus a few major companies choosing HBAR as it's standard crypto. I've noticed that some of Mike's audience are all in gold and silver investors or traders. I'd say that many are pretty hard core and consider anything or most anything outside of gold and silver to be somehow the enemy. I owned silver and gold long before the hashgraph was invented and still do. I feel fortunate that there is room in my mind and my portfolio to learn about and invest in both precious metals and Hbars. As Mike said, he is a long term investor and not a trader. The world is full of opportunities and it is up to all of us to drill down and find the ones that most fit our investment goals and our ability to live with risk. Crypto in general is in it's infancy and has the volatility that comes with all new investments classes. I personally view that volatility as opportunity and it fits my investment goals for a large percentage of my net worth. Having done my homework on gold, silver and Hbar, I view all the price setbacks as potentially my last chance to get more of what I believe in.

That’s the point John. These investments are highly volatile. On the pro side, that is how you can achieve incredible generation wealth in a very short time once this takes off. Mike doesn’t have a crystal ball and just like you and me have no idea where the price goes. My only shortcomings is if this HBAR is ISO20022 compliant? Maybe becouse this interview prooved there is nothing Hedera could do that another hundred other crypto would not be able to. DeFi, DLT, smart contracts, tokenization, etc. will change our world that's for sure. But still... Yes it has ledger support, you can stake natively for 6.5% return directly from ledger. You do hold your own keys and Hedera will soon provide a solution for recovering keys. The bulk of Hbars that come onto market from here are for growing the ecosystem.

Everything is speculative, but Hedera is doing more daily transactions than all other layer1/2 networks combined and has some of the largest companies in the world building on it. Its far less speculative than many other assets.

My other investment is in Bar Stock, I-Beam, Angle Iron, Round and Square Tubing. All in stainless, aluminum and steel respectively. Gold and Silver are more tradable but the big iron is good for building structures. Great vids Mike! Watched your money vid series with my kids, Extraordinary! They don't ask mom for money now, its Currency and Fiat, hehehe!
