Most of the Hmong can't tell the true about Hmong New Year ball tossing. My grand mother told me that the more you catch the ball, the more you catch new year or you welcome new year. The less you drop the ball, that means you threw old year behind, or threw old year away.

all I know about my grandparents had told us about the Hmong new year that it's 100 year ago boys and girls don't know how to relationship that's why they create the hmong new year ball tossing to used to relationship and for a boy a girl know how to marry to be family that why now we still keep continue to do Celebration the New Year it's really important
