Great review of 1994 Stalker version 5, it looks like a good action figure to have. I got version 1 which the arm broke right off at the shoulder and I'm going to fix, I have the 1.5, 2 and 3 versions of Stalker, very cool character/action figures. I love your videos, it's very informative, lots to learn about the G.I. Joe figures in your videos. Thumbs up HCC788.

Out of the box of over 100 Joes I bought at a yardsale there were 3 different Stalkers, v2, v3 and vr 5, which led me to believe that they were played with and handed down by siblings. There were also 2 of v2 kayaks. Not sure what role v5 had in my son's army but once we knew which figures were which. He liked all 3 versions as I remember.

Stalker was my favourite G.I Joe. I always loved his hat 😊. My Stalker had orange and black clothes. He looked so cool! I think he had black and white camo pants too. Oh! And he could talk too! With buttons on his orange backpack.

Glad to get another video. Always enjoy them. I don't think there has ever been a truly bad Stalker figure in the vintage, modern, or 12 inch lines. I am not sure that there is another character (with more than one version) that can say that.

hey how are you, I had a mudbuster as a kid, brings back memories as a kid, I reckon my favorite gi joe would be H.E.A.T viper or Zartan especially now at my age of 35, these were the days that my mum and brother will still alive. I'm in film school right now and if I did a GI Joe movie or show I would make Duke younger than Stalker and how Duke serving in Stalker's team and his arc would be that he becomes the Duke we know.

Maybe it's because I am 90's kid but those acessory trees didn't really bother me. Way I see it those gave us option what weapons to give to action figure even if some weren't appropriate to figures that those come with. Also those missile launchers were rather epic. It was best to have figures hold them below the arm.

99% sure the accessory sculptor based that shotgun on the Benelli M1 Super 90. Pretty damn good likeness for a mass-produced action figure from 1987.

All things considered Stalker got it pretty good in the figures. The worst thing done to him was they stuck a big electronic noisemaker on his back.

Yeah, even his more modern action figures still look decent when compared to other popular characters like Duke and Flint. 2002-2005 is defiantly one of the stranger times for the 3 and 3/4 scale GI Joe action figures with some of the color choices they went with and some of the new sculpts being really off from what had come to expect. Still every now and again they were some decent action figures( mostly reissues of older figures) along with new characters like Cross Hair.

This one is just O.K. The colors don't bother me near as much as the scalpt. Least favorite version of Stalker. V1 and V2 tied for first place. Still better than what they did to ol' Snake Eyes though.

To get the figure's hand into that missile launcher, dip the figure's hand into hot water to heat up the plastic, then you can put the hand through and work the fingers around the handle. That would be the only way I can figure that it would work. Not a great design, in my opinion, if you have to do all that just to get him to hold the weapon. I don't like the new sculpted head. It doesn't look like the original Stalker, and his chin and jaws are very Dolph Lungren. He does look very African American on the card art and file card. I'd say that he looks a lot more like Sgt Slaughter than Stalker. I like your review of this figure. Seems very fair.

The yellow rings on the shoulder were a turn off for me in the 1990s and I passed on this figure because I already had v2 and v3. Both better figures in my opinion. In hindsight, I should have just broken down and bought him for my collection. I remember that only the made in Indonesia figures were available in my area.

I wonder if the machete wasn't a variation but a result of mould degradation? It could be somewhere along the line the mould either broke or had something else happen to it. The only way to know for sure is to find carded figures with both versions of the machete.

The same thing also happened with Roadblock version 1's backpack. Originally it had a peg to hang the tripod for his Browning M2 on for transport. When Hasbro reused the mold in the early 2000's the peg was completely gone and the lower portion of the pack was not removable any more.

I can't overlook the science fiction shoulder loops. they ruin the figure even more than the unpainted details. (Although the neck is really bad). Why did they do that? The card art doesn't seem to have them and looks a lot better.
