Great series of videos. I have a dog with HE and a grumbling pancreas - vet doesn't know a lot about it. I am no doctor but I have a degree in Chemistry which makes understanding the whole process a lot easier. Maisie is responding well now on antibiotics. We have found a probiotic fat free yoghurt to work as well as lactulose. She is on the Royal Canin hepatic diet and I make her food with soy protein and vegetables - also add some zinc tablets and Vitamin B in case she has Thiamine deficiency . Maisie is doing much better now - confusion was so bad we were considering putting her to sleep but she has improved a lot over the last 2 weeks.
