That's called the terminal velocity... After falling some height gravitational force become equal to upthrust + viscous force on the body acting upwards... After that velocity of the raindrop remains constant.

Hello sir myself lakshya goyal, studing in class 11th science My question is " According to Maxwell's theory an electron moving around an atom loses energy and will ultimately fall in nucleus" But sir "the planets are revolving around the sun for a long time but they are not falling down to the sun. Why?

Because the gravitational force of attraction between the planets and the sun provides necessary centripetal force(kind of force which acts towards the centre) which keeps the planets on their orbit . As the force is perfectly balanced, planets , therefore , do not go out of their orbit .

I am in class 12 so these are not my exact answers. Just ignore wherever you disagree and keep searching the truth😊😇

One more thing planets are not charged but again acceleration ho rahi hai toh energy waste karni chahiye. Yehi hai ha matlab uss energy ko ghumne mein istemal kiya sun ke taraf jane ke liye nehi. That is it basically sun ka force and energy woh planets waste kar rahi hai ghumne mein through angular velocity and acceleration due to centripetal force jiske karan sun mein nehi jati. Electrons bhi yehi karti hogi😊
