HCW and Frontliners Testimonial Video on OCD-provided Accommodation

Since July 2020, the Office of Civil Defense Eastern Visayas, as Chairperson of the Regional Task Force VIII Against COVID-19, has been providing temporary hotel accommodation as support to the Healthcare Workers (HCWs) and Frontliners in the region. This endeavor aims to ensure their safety, the continuity of health/frontline services, and the prevention of further transmission of the virus while on duty.
OCD provides 368 rooms as temporary shelter for HCWs/frontliners and member agencies, while 182 rooms are as isolation facilities under the Bayanihan Act. The program has already accommodated 223,750 HCWs/frontliners since the start of implementation.
