Excellent and interesting performance. Thank-you to the whole orchestra! Chinese music seems to use percussion more and better than does western music. This is an excellent example. The percussion really adds to this piece. One of the things I like to do with music videos is to follow young musicians through the years. There are only a few that I follow. In the HCYCO channel, there have been 2, and 劉昱霆 is one of those. It is with this video that I finally learned his name. I've been able to follow him at least as far back as 2014, when I saw him play the hand cymbals in "弄獅". (Actually, I think I also saw him in videos recorded in 2013.) He was excellent in that video; now, 6 years later, he is still excellent, even better, in this video. It's great to see all the different instruments he plays, and he plays them well. Since HCYCO is a "youth" orchestra, I don't know how long a musician can continue to be a member of this orchestra. But I hope that 劉昱霆 will continue to belong to and perform with this orchestra for years to come so I can enjoy him more. By the way, I hope that 劉昱霆 sees this comment!

I will pass on your message to the soloist, 劉昱霆. Thanks for your long-term support of our orchestra. We really appreciated!
Question: When (year, month, day-of-month) was this actually performed?

@@hcyco Thank-you! Several minutes ago, I said in a comment to another HCYCO video that I like to "follow young musicians through the years". 劉昱霆 is one of them. With this video, I now know his name.
