To be honest they were faster than what I expected. We ended each one of them in 4-5 days, while the other levels took around 1-2 weeks or more.

I know this is an old video, but how did you get all the emerald pieces to spawn in the same places? Or is it always the same the first time?

Don Voltonus Not sure how new you are to Tool Assisted Speedruns... But to say it simply, they had a reset save they could go back to at the beginning of the level. They reset to that save state until they were satisfied with their time. Once they found a pattern they liked, they were able to keep trying without actually leaving the level. So the emerald pieces weren't in the same places each time, the TAS-er(s) could just go back in time.

What I mean is was this a rom where the arrangement was locked? Otherwise it would be possible for the rng upon playing the game to spawn the pieces in different spots. or was this just them playing back video?
