I remember this game, there was a major exploit in there. You could always score from the halfway line when you put a certain amount of power on it (near to full).

You can do that only in begginer difficulty. Amateur and above - the GK will catch the ball.

Actually I think this might be possible on harder difficulty levels too but you need a star player that can shoot a curved ball. Also depends on the goalkeeper, someone like Oliver Kahn MIGHT be able to defend it.

When i watch old videogames that i played as a child, i literally cry. So many memories I have to say that i didnt remember this game as this, the graphics looks phenomenal even today lol. I wish i can play some of them again

Looking back at this game after so many years, sure feel the graphic so outdated. But back when this game came out it was really beautiful. Who could ever forget the fireball and the goal celebration.

Man I loved this game so much, but I played it few years ago and it's just so out dated now. I still think it's better than some of the newer fifa games, just because of the nostalgia, but the gameplay is so slow and graphic are so cartoony. But I liked how I could always score from the halfway line with Paul Scholes or from a feekick with Roberto Carlos, or even a corner kick with David Beckham. Also when you shoot with star players, fire came around the ball lol. Aaaaaand if you won the cup with an asain team you would unlock a special team full of players from different asain countries and the same with europe etc.
